So you want a NARS Blush?

March 27, 2008 Paris B 13 Comments

I just stumbled upon a site that sells NARS, Trish McEvoy and a variety of other high end brands online, and here’s the clincher – THEY SHIP INTERNATIONALLY!!

kissandmakeup

The store is called Kiss and Makeup and is based in New York, USA. The price of a NARS Blush is US$25 (same as on the Nars website) and shipping worldwide is only $5.95 9.95 flat rate however much you buy. Nars Cosmetics’s website is a good place to start looking at the color swatches or you can view my Nars Blush collection. (I don’t own some anymore).

I’m actually sorely tempted by the Trish McEvoy powder brush #5. I’ve read glowing reviews about it and about how soft it is. But it is retailing at US$72 *whimper*

Did I mention Kiss and Makeup takes paypal? *hides my paypal account* Maybe we should just join our orders and save on shipping LOL…

Note: I haven’t shopped here and don’t know anyone who has. Does anyone who has tried it want to give us a review? 🙂

UPDATE: Please note that some people have experienced problems so shop at your own risk! Please read the Vogue forums for more info.

FREE SHIPPING CODE: Use code PARISB for free shipping worldwide from now until June 18, 2011.

One warning with flat rate shipping — it can take up to a month for your products to arrive, especially if they get held up at customs. =/ But otherwise, yaye! Great news!

Hmmm..I’m a bit wary ordering from that site as I’ve heard some Australian customers has had problems in CS and goods not arriving at all 🙁

I have ordered from them before. My stuff came safely and quickly. There is no better place to buy makeup online and the shipping is INSANELY cheap.

    Hi Paris,
I am the owner of Kiss and Makeup and I want to thank you so much for your review of my store! We’re glad to offer great lines such as Nars, Laura Mercier, Trish McEvoy, Smashbox, Kiehl’s, Fresh, Mario Badescu and many more to everyone around the world-at US prices! A few years ago when we started our online business, we had a rough patch with the shipping, but we really have it all down pat now so all orders are shipped within 2 days (unless items are out of stock) and are packaged carefully. I hope you’ll find our customer service to be excellent too-my partner answers all emails, and I answer all facebook comments-whether about orders or just general questions about products. Speaking of facebook, we offer exclusive promotions regularly on our fan page! The next time you place an order, mention this post in the comments section and I’ll trhow in a bunch of great extra samples for you!
    Thanks Again!
    XO, Amy

I am one disappointed customer. I did not get my package despite the 30-45 day wait as stipulated and never got it. When i emailed Kiss and Makeup the first time round & the delay was blamed on customs and on the second time round I was blamed for not buying insurance! They responded they are not responsible for lost, damaged, or theft. USPS on the other hand said once it leaves US soil they are not responsible! Please dont be duped by the $9.95 shipping. I suggest just stick to Strawberrynet. Pls gals its better to do biz with Strawberrynet than a company in US too far and expensive to call when packages cannot be traced. Dont support Kiss and Makeup YOU WILL LOSE MONEY!

I remember when I first tried the #antipodesskinca I remember when I first tried the #antipodesskincare Aura Manuka Honey Mask. It blew my mind away! Soothes skin. Boosts hydration and just makes you feel like you have the best skin ever! Not kidding. If you have a spot or irritated skin, it calms it down and helps get rid of your spots too. Honey is anti bacterial after all, so it’s a great multitasker.
I also love the Manuka Honey Skin brightening Day Cream. It’s light but creamy and sinks into the skin. I’ve reviewed them both on the blog in the past. If you run a search for Antipodes, you’d also notice how much I love the brand! 😁
I’m super late with this but if you’re planning to purchase any of these 3 Manuka honey items from TNS Skinlab, the code MYWSTUFF10 will give you an extra 10% off (until tomorrow 31 Dec) I highly recommend grabbing the Aura mask. You’ll never want to be without (I always have a backup!)
Thanks for the gift @tnsskinlab and I must apologise for my tardiness 😩 I’ll learn to cope better from next week!
Now I have to scuttle and write my year end musings. Some traditions must be kept! 😜
Tell me your fave Antipdoes skincare product!

It’s my first year doing retail and honestly, I’d never been so busy! The year-end rush is unreal! But busy is good, right? At least that’s what I tell myself 😂

Had a bit of breather today and put together a little video. Blink and miss my little monster 🐶 helping me shop! Not sponsored but I did receive a gift from L’Occitane, for which my sun-exposed, dry dog-walking skin thanks you!
Haven’t done any Christmas shopping this year. It has only just struck me that it’s but mere days away! 😨 Have you done yours?
