New Thrrrob blush from Benefit Cosmetics

January 8, 2008 Paris B 4 Comments

Ok hands up anyone who has tried or seen Thrrrob blush from Benefit Cosmetics in person?? Details please?! I was surfing the Benefit Cosmetics site and this new blush popped up right on the front page and grabbed my attention immediately.

Is it the name? Thrrrob does conjure up all sorts of imageries šŸ˜‰ just like NARS Orgasm. In fact, the product description says:

Product Description:
Turn on the flush, turn up the rush… with thrrrob, our new ā€œturned onā€ face powder. This pulse-racing pink powder simulates the natural flush you get when your heart races. With accompanying brush, lay it on light across cheekbones, forehead and chin. Then sit back & let the excitement begin! It’s a turn on!

Or maybe its the colour? On my screen, it looks like a slightly darker version of Dandelion with rosy undertones. If its anything like Dandelion, then I’d expect it to be on the sheer side but this one might show up better than Dandelion does. I do wish the people at Benefit would come up with a name that is easier to spell though. I can’t quite remember how many r’s there are in Thrrrob! It makes it hard to search for the item online so Benefit should have named it just Throb instead, in my view.

Thrrrob blush is presently available online at Benefit Cosmetics for US$28. I want to check it out in person before I place any orders though. I’m not sure when we can expect it in Malaysia.

    Hey gorgeous!

I’d just checked this out at my nearest (well ONLY!) BeneFit counter here in Adelaide. Given that I’m a tanned GGG it didn’t show up on me at all-not that I was surprised by this…

Bless the SA who tried to convince me that it will give me a glow…

PB says: HI!!! I haven’t spotted it here yet.. unless I’m not looking hard enough hehe… Guess Benefit is just too light
