Yves St. Laurent Beaute Powder for complexion

November 5, 2007 Paris B 3 Comments

yslblushIsn’t this the cutest thing you’ve seen?

This is the Yves St. Laurent Beaute Limited-Edition Compact Powder for the Complexion.

What it is, is a pink powder heart on a light pink background. This powder is meant to brighten the complexion and to give a matte luminous look.

I reckon the powders can be used separately or swirled together to mix the shades. I don’t know though if the pink is dark enough to be used as a blush. I’ve never used a pink brightening powder before so this might be worth looking at?

Or maybe I just love the way it looks! 🙂 You have to admit it’ll steal any girl’s heart!

It retails for US$52. I’ll wait to see when it comes to our shores and then check it out.

Update: A couple of years later, I picked this one up and it really is lovely to use. It offers a nice pink radiance without being over done and yet acts as a good pressed powder. I don’t use it enough and I really should because I’ve learnt that YSL makes very good quality powder products and its a pity we no longer have the brand in Malaysia for now.
