Bobbi Brown Palette system prices

I caught sight of the Bobbi Brown palette system at the new Pavilion Kuala Lumpur shopping mall over the weekend.

Was I impressed? No, I wasn’t. The colours were as ho-hum and “normal” as I expected Bobbi Brown to be. The only 2 things that surprised me were:

  • The contents of the palettes are bigger than I expected
  • The eyeshadows had a shimmery tint to them which I did not expect.

The brushes that comes with the little pouch are teeny tiny, but I can understand how they can be useful from a travel point of view. If you are looking for practicality and everyday usage, I think they are too small and fiddly.

Here are the prices for the palette and pouch set, courtesy of S-kay who has been ever helpful!

RM200 includes Mini Mascara, Blush + Eyeliner + Eyeshadow brushes and the pouch, which can fit approximately 3 (similar to BB size) palettes. I tried dumping in my basics and I find it quite convenient for traveling (wished it was a wee bit bigger so I stuff in a lil more)

Blush palette = RM130
Lip palette = RM140
Eyeshadow = RM160

I reiterate my earlier view that this will make a great gift for someone just starting to wear makeup (its all quite idiot proof) or for someone who just lost all their makeup and are starting over. Otherwise, its just too… un-special.

    Agree with you. The only reason I bought the pouch was coz of the mini brushes and how it can pack in my essentials without taking up too much space when I lug it around traveling. The palettes arent impressive at all.

    Did you see the YSL one. It’s so pretty

    PB says: Yeah YSL is pretty but I find it tends to be too sheer… pity really
