Are you looking to minimize your pores?

August 17, 2007 Paris B 6 Comments

Whenever you look at the pictures of models and actresses in the glossy magazines, do you find yourself wondering why you don’t have that smooth, flawless, no-pore look that they do? Lets leave air-brushing and photoshop aside.

I’ve seen many girls in real life, who also have that same flawless look. You can’t photoshop someone you see in the flesh! I suppose having flawless skin and small tiny little unnoticable pores is every woman’s dream. But here are some products recommended by Elle magazine that could help.

pore

There is no guarantee that these cleansers will help minimize pores, but they will help keep your face clean and keeping your face clean is the first step towards having great skin. I’m happy that they recommended St. Ives Apricot Scrub as well. Its the best facial scrub I’ve tried and possibly one of the cheapest. I know it doesn’t work for everyone, but my skin is loving it!

Elle has a good article on minimizing pores under “Spotlight on Pore Minimizers” in their September issue (USA Edition). I’ve attached the article here (click to enlarge picture).

Using Bioxil Advance Anti-dot essence (RM188 @ LD). Put it on my t-zone and chin. It reduces whiteheads and pores. This is the 1st product that actually worked for me within the month itself. Previously I bought Clinique’s…nothing happened..not even after a year.

    Oh look! It’s SK! 😀

OK, I’ve had good results with Cellnique’s Sebum gel. A lot of people swear by this. It’s RM139 for 30 ml from the Cellnique centers. I get these at 5-10% discount from a source. Those sold at Sasa are a different grade.

I use it 1-2 times daily, and I never have whiteheads or pimples around my face where before I use to get it every now and then. The pores on my nose also cleared up noticeably.

urm, i think the apricot scrub and the apricot cleanser/mask is two different items altogether.

Yea, I agree with Kay too, I’ve been using Bioxil Anti-Dot since last Sept and it has really worked in minimizing my pores on my prone-to-oiliness nose and clearing the blackheads. Nowadays my blackheads arent as visible as before. I’ve previously used the pores sticker that claim to clear off blackheads but never really helped much.
Just been told that the Bioxil Anti-Dot is now available for sale at the Bioxil Skin Lab at KLCC
