Being a bit of an experimentalist, it was quite natural for me to take a gander at the new-ish Biotherm UV Supra D-Tox High protection Supra light fluid sunscreen launched earlier this year. (Let’s just call it Biotherm UV Supra D-Tox sunscreen, shall we?) Its been months now, and what with one thing and another, I forgot to tell you about it.
First off, let me say that I love the packaging. Its so un-sunscreen and so ergonomic and stylish. Not how one usually describes the plain jane tube packaging most sunscreens come in. Its slim, and round and cute as a button!
The Biotherm UV Supra D-Tox is a chemical based sunscreen with L’Oreal patented Mexoryl XL so if you aren’t into that, its time to leave. Texture wise, it reminded me a lot of the Kiehl’s UV Defence sunscreen.
Its got the same lotion type texture, spreading very easily on the skin and feeling light and non oily. It does feel a bit more silicone to the touch than Kiehl’s though. I find an added bonus with the Biotherm UV Supra is that there is a very light citrus scent that makes is very appealing.
