Aupres, if you remember, is a new brand under the umbrella of Japanese cosmetics giant, Shiseido. I’d told you about it being launched here last year. Malaysia is, I believe, still the only country outside of China that carries this brand at time of writing. I do stand to be corrected of course :)

We don’t hear a lot about this new brand and for now, the counters are only found in the Klang Valley, but I’m sure we’ll see them branch out to other states soon. But until they do, thanks to the generosity of the folks at Aupres Malaysia, I have here 2 bottles of the Ultimate White Extra Intensive Spot Serum worth RM150 each to be given away to 2 very lucky readers! 😀 Here is Part 4 of the rather epic MWS 6th Anniversary Giveaway series 😀

aupres ultimate white

The product works to reduce the formation of dark spots, treat existing dark spots while helping moisturise and brighten the skin. I haven’t tried it myself but hey, 2 of you can 😉 To find out how to win yourself a bottle, head on below.

I was going to keep this within the country but what the hey, its open worldwide 😀

Thank you for the opportunity! I would loooove to win this, I really need a serum like this in my routine! 😉

I think my dream destination is maybe Tokyo!!
And you did influence me to buy the DiorSnow Wipe-Off Gel and it didn’t really work for me, it kind of broke me out! :\ But I did realise why you liked it, I mean, except for the pimples, it did gently exfoliate my skin and left it pretty! xx

Wai Mun March 27, 2013 at 8:52 am

I wish I can go Turkey. Man… that place looks totally different from Malaysia. It’s beautiful <3 in fact, everywhere is beautiful too…

I have been influence to purchase beauty product from Strawberry.net instead of just product itself. That was the first time i dare to purchase product online after I have email you, Paris B on the reliability. Then, I fell in love with Anna Sui product. Seriously, it's so cool to know this blog. I've learn a lot. At least, things to know like the Burberry lipstick that changed in odour in less than a year really shows me experience i never heard before. Like high end product and quality stuff. Anything can happen! =)

Where is your dream destination to visit? I’d love to visit all parts of Asia, but to make it interesting, I’d love to visit Thailand or Vietnam. I find there is so much history that makes the countries so incredibly traditional. Of course, I’d love to eat all their food!
Have you been influenced to purchase anything reviewed or talked about here on MWS and if so, what was it and did it work for you? Yes! I actually purchased the Laura Mercier Secret Camoflauge concealer. It works consistently well, even when my other concealers don’t perform :p

I would love to visit Paris one day.

I remembered the first ever product you influenced me into getting is the Kiehl’s Ultimate White Surface Brightening Exfoliator. Didn’t really test it at the store, just asked a friend to get it for me. Thank god, I liked it to bits.

1. My dream destination is to Italy and have a culinary tour there. Nom nom.
2. Yes, lots of times LOL. I like your choice of sunscreen and they work well on me most of the times: Kose Sekkisei, Biore UV Aqua, Shiseido Perfect. I love them all.

Jen March 27, 2013 at 9:10 am

Wow, Paris, that’s sweet of you to have such a giveaway… Well, my dream destination will be New Zealand, probably influenced by LOTR movies, lol! I was just too fascinated with the nature view of the country…
I did influenced by your review on Laneige Brightening Sun Powder last year , and did get one for myself. It works on me, just that my friends told me that I look pale with this powder on. I should have put some blusher on, hehe…

My dream destination is Japan! Particularly Kyoto for its sights and Osaka for takoyaki :p

The review on Yves Rocher cleansing milk sounded quite promising since I don’t really like using cleansing oils (Shu Uemura gave me pimples >..< It is also not as viscous as I like it to be so I'm finding ways of disposing it now =(

pawprints March 27, 2013 at 9:18 am

Hey my comments got eaten again >.> The answer to the 2nd question was meant to be like this:

Paris! My big regret of studying in the UK was not stepping out of the country when I had the opportunity. It could be overrated but I want to at least have the chance to say that it’s overrated 😛

As for enabling, hello? So much of my makeup and shopping list in Malaysia were influenced by you! How many tins of Meteorites do I have again? I vaguely remembered saying I wouldn’t get anymore. Ahem 😛

1) My dream destination is Greece! Sun and sea and sky!
2) Yes, you influenced me to buy the NARS blushes, which I still love to this day :-)

Crabby March 27, 2013 at 9:41 am

Lets see. My dream destination will be the safari in Africa. I can bring my kid to see all those animals in their natural habitat rather than in cages of the zoo.

Since i’m into skincare, a major disappointment on Diorsnow White Reveal Wipe-Off Gel that i purchased last year. Somehow there is no whitening/brightening effect for me. :( Till today the bottle is still in my cabinet and it will continue to be there…..

Chelsea Ren March 27, 2013 at 9:44 am

Many thanks for all the awesome giveaways!

1) Dream Destination : NEW YORK, USA.

2) influenced to purchase : I am a sucker for all whitening lotions. serum or cream. (What to do? trying to minimize dark spots and look as fair as possible) I did buy the Estee Lauder CyberWhite Brilliant Cells Night Full Spectrum Brightening Moisture Creme and I am glad I did, cause I am really happy with results so far….

Norwati Jaapar March 27, 2013 at 9:56 am

Thanks for the opportunity once again!

I would love to go London and shop for Cath Kidston! ( I’m a flower child)

It was that time of the year when you’re about to reach the big 40 and you realised your current cleanser is not doing any good, I went to your blog to look for reviews of cleansers. You mentioned Sukin products and I was intrigued. Organic and cheap? I hunt for it and found a whole range of it here. (spore) I love it!! It’s very gentle and the rose hip oil is like a miracle in a bottle. The facial cleanser is divine and I’m using the whole range now from masque to moisturisers. Thank you for reviewing it.

Amalina March 27, 2013 at 10:09 am

Hi there Paris :)

1. My dream destination would be TOKYO! I so so sooooooo want to go to that Wisteria Tunnel. Pictures I’ve seen online about that place is just so breath taking I think I will faint 1000 times if I went there. Haha! Lets hope I wont faint tho, cause it would be a waste to go to such a beautiful place only to faint.. LOL

2. I think I have made a purchase after reading your review. One I can remember was the DIor Addict Lip Glow. Owh and another Dior lipstick. One from the Rouge Dior Nude Lip Blush collection. You are such an enabler..haha

Kimmyz March 27, 2013 at 10:15 am

Thanks again for another give-away Paris! Keep them coming, hihihi..

My dream destination would be to travel around Europe!

Yes, you are quite influential to me when it comes to skincare. I bought the 24H Hydration Gel Creme from Yves Roucher, ahem..along with the serum after reading your reviews. I have only just started to use it but so far so good. :)

Leonard Goh March 27, 2013 at 10:17 am

Paris, The City of LOVE ! It’s the only place I’ve ever wanted to be ! The culture , the people , the art ! I love everything about Paris !

I’ll always check up on your blog for skin care update ! Seriously, no one want to spent their hard earn money on product that doesn’t work , so i will definitely check on your reviews before buying anything. I was influenced by your Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate Reviews ! It seems like you’ve been going on and on about this product, as you like to pair it with the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair( which I’m in love with it too). I don’t mind mixing both product together but it’s a little bit too much for me. I kinda use it on rotation ,and both product works for me brilliantly ! When I need a little moisture boost I’ll use the Estee Lauder ANR , and when feel a little tense I’ll use Kiehl’s MRC (the lavender scent is just so relaxing!). I think this blog really helps me alot ! Thank you so much Paris !

Parita March 27, 2013 at 10:18 am

My dream destination would be Paris , France! Its the land of romance and finest culinary adventures!
1) Quite a few actually – Nars blushes, Elianto eyeshadow, Revlon Lip Butters 😀

Lai Heng March 27, 2013 at 10:19 am

2. I admit, there have been quite a few purchases of mine that were influenced by your blog. Most notably, Guerlain meteorites 😛

My dream is to visit Japan. I love everything about Japan, Culture, language, Food, and Skincare 😉

I decided to get a tub of Laneige water sleeping pack because of you and im so glad i did i love it :)

Wong Yi Lian March 27, 2013 at 10:23 am

My dream destination to visit is Greece. The moment that I watch Mamma Mia, the movie, I fall in love in this place, it looks so romantic and tranquil with the beautiful blue sea.

Oh, regarding the product review, definitely yes! I bought Hada Labo Tamagohada AHA BHA Face wash and Gokujyun SHA Face Wash after reading your reviews. Both of the them work out well for me. I use Gokujyun after waking up and before sleep, it is not hydrating, but it is so mild and not drying at all. While for Tamagohada, I used it only once a day after school, it is great to remove dirt, oil and excessive keratin of my skin, and just like you said, a little bit drying, so I only use it once a day. :)
Thanks for the reviews! XD

Nani March 27, 2013 at 10:30 am

Thanks for the giveaway, PB!
My dream destination will be Santorini, Greece.
Hmm…. You tempt me with few of them, especially serums from Clinique and Estee Lauder ANR (a bit late here) which I plan to try after I finish my current one. But the one I have purchased is Yves Roches Hydra Vegetal Refreshing Gel Cleanser. It’s very light and the smell is very good. But lately I have stopped using it because it doesn’t lather. I actually quite like it, but I am just a sucker for bubble.

Dee March 27, 2013 at 10:32 am

Ooh.. a new brand to try! :)

I would love tour Europe! Especially Venice! It’s so romantic just touring the Venetian city along the rivers on a gondola~ 😀

Your review on the Hada Labo Olive Oil Cleanser, gave me a heads up on what to expect if the cleanser did not suit me, but i tried it anyway. I kept a look out for breakouts but thank goodness it works fine for me :) Some of the items you review such as the Hada Labo sunscreen and RMK curler are already on my waiting list of items to try! :)

Thanks for the giveaways~

Dream destination – your name-sake. (Could not resist that) – Paris, France. I have my moments where I am a sucker for its romantic image..

There are several but if I have to pick 1, it would have to be Kiehls’ MNC. Love it. Mix it with ANR as blogged by you and the combination becomes one super cocktail for the face and it’s one happy face :-) in the morning.

Chow Mei Ling March 27, 2013 at 11:27 am

My dream destination to visit would be Bora Bora in the French Polynesia! It just sounds so exotic and the beaches look beautiful!

I have been influenced by you to buy the Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush! Actually not just you, as there were quite a few raves about it through the blogging world, but yours was one of them! Did I like it? Yes, I do love it, I love the finish but I don’t show it enough love! I don’t like that I have to wash my brush after every liquid foundation application, cuz it’s such a hassle! So I don’t use it as often as I would like. :)

Thanks for another awesome giveaway!

My dream destination would be Athens, Greece. I just love the beautiful sun that surrounds the green hills, cute little cottages and the narrow lanes that would be so lovely to just gaze upon!
I love reading your blog and yes! There are many products that I have actually bought after reading your posts, if to name just one, it would be Clarisonic Mia! I have the same experience with you, initially I had breakouts (maybe from overexfoliate) and after using it for once or twice a week, I have a more consistently clearer skin! Loving it and it did take me almost 3-4 months to convince myself I didn’t waste my money on it!
FYI, I also bought from the same website that you have recommended, but they charge $10 flat rate for all international postages now. Still much cheaper than Sephora Malaysia, so thumbs up for the service!

My dream destination is Galapagos Island – said to have the best dive sites in the world.

As I dive a lot (91 dives under my belt so far), I am keen to try any whitening products to even out my skintone and lighten pigmentation from all the time spent in the sun. I do hope I get the opportunity to win this serum and eventually share my comments about it on My Women Stuff :)

Paris, thanks for your generous giveaway item.

My ideal dream destination would be Europe. Was I influenced to purchase anything reviewed or talked about here on MWS? The answer is YES. I recently stopped by TNS store to explore the serums by ANTIPODES as recommended by you. Manage to get a sample of each serum and immediately went back home to try the Hosanna serum and Hallelujah Lime & Patchouli Cleanser . I love the serum and cleanser and will definately purchase it and recommend this product to my buddies. It has become an everyday routine for me to visit your website to check out the topic that you are going to post and see the reviews/feedback posted by others. I have been influenced to buy the Shiseido perfect uv protector sunscreen that you use, when I can find it! I would like to go to Switzerland and simply spend my day on its train ride and enjoying its beautiful snowy mountain coldness… with a nice hot chocolate on the train.
I learnt about Hada Labo Es series from your site and I got its milk while in Japan. I find it good for my rather sensitive skin then. :)

1. My dream destination would be Paris, the City of Romance.
2. I tried the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex after I read your review and I think it is fantastic!

Li Ping March 27, 2013 at 11:00 pm

My dream destination is definitely club med in Maldives!

Omg u r a total bad influence on my purse…. After reading your blog I started using cleansing oils (currently using the hada labo one) n I definitely can’t leave without double cleansing now…. I’ve also gotten sunblocks, lippies, foundation, the ANR… The list is never ending!!

yue rain March 27, 2013 at 11:00 pm

Hokaido for the cheery blossom:-) .
I was hoping to buy the miracle water sk2 but

I’ve been longing to go to Switzerland ever since Ikea started to advertise the Swiss people’s peaceful lifestyle and scenery on their store’s tv. I mean who doesn’t want to have picnic in the meadows and make freshly pluck elderflower tea? Hehe 😀

I usually look to MWS for reviews on budget skincare. One product that I was convinced to buy 2 years ago was Garnier Aqua Defense Moisturizer. I liked the product especially for its smell and light weight consistency. I’ve used it for a year until I got hormonal acne. Swithced to Yadah Anti-T Emulsion after that.

Hi Paris,

1. My dream destination is Kyoto, Japan. I am a food lover and I am especially fond of japanese food and their elegant presentation. Kyoto is also full of beautiful shrines and temples. I would really love to go in one of them and marvel at the architecture and work being poured into them.

2. After reading your blog I went and bought myself a Kiehl’s sunscreen. The only sunscreen I bought (granted I’ve only bought 5 different sunscreens in my lifetime) that does not clog my pores, gives me a (noticable) white cast and leaves me with an oily face at the end of the day. The clogged pores alone was enough to make me entertain the notion to completely stop wearing any scunscreen again. Thus for me, that was money well spent!

Joanne March 27, 2013 at 11:18 pm

Dream destination would be New Zealand. After watching The Hobbit and LOTR, fell in love with its beautiful landscape.
After reading your makeup tips by Dior, I was determined to try and purchase, if suit, Dior’s foundation and foundation powder. Glad to say am loving both of them. Now is wait for my existing stock to reach a level that is acceptable to purchase another. 😛

Jarucha March 28, 2013 at 12:18 am

1. Would love to go to Japan….its up there on my “to visit” list
2. I haven’t bought anything yet but I almost pulled the trigger on the Kiehls midnight recovery serum….that’s still on my “to buy” list which is longer everyday thanks to MWS!

Aylour March 28, 2013 at 1:14 am

Hi dear Paris!

I’d really like to win this product. I’m from Croatia, a sunny Mediterranean state, where all the girls have beautiful darker toned skin. But, I am very, very fair. And I love it! :)
But because of all the sun exposure, I have some skin issues, like dark spots, not a lot, but something to think about. Here, there are no such products, for whitening, except some mainstream brands, drugstore range, that don’t fit the problem. So I’d really like to try some of the products you reviewed and suggested.

My favourite destination to visit, would be Iceland! :) I think it’s one of he most beautiful places on earth. With all of the untouched nature, geysers and nice people. Yes, it’s cold. But I don’t mind! :)

I was influenced by you, and only by you, to buy the Guerlain Météorites ! :) I absolutely adore them. The smell, the finish on my skin, the packaging. Everything. I always feel very special when I wear them! :)
So thank you! :*

grace March 28, 2013 at 1:22 am

my dream destination would be japan! i live in the US and even though we have access to most of the european and of course american brands, i still crave cosmetics that are more suited to asian skintones and skin types. of course, the japanese cosmetic quality doesn’t hurt either! i’ve never been to japan and i think it would be fun to do some shopping in tokyo, visit the hot water springs as well as take in some of the beautiful scenery and history.

i bought the benefit creaseless cream shadow in strut and birthday suit because of your recommendations :). i’m now reconsidering olay as well after your review of the Olay Total Effects 7 in 1 cream 😛

Lily March 28, 2013 at 4:29 am

I’d love to go to Japan, because I’ve recently started studying Japanese at uni.

As for MWS influencing my purchases, your reviews always get me thinking about products I’d want to try or avoid!

layen March 28, 2013 at 7:04 am

Dream destination: US for all the theme parks they have over there 😀

Yes, I bought the Clinique Even Better serum after reading your review and the bottle is nearing its end already!

Thanks for the giveaway!

Dream destination(s) – Anywhere I have never been to before. I want to experience every culture before I die. If only for a while.

As mentioned earlier, I don’t read reviews then buy products. I usually just buy and try then see if others feel the same way I do bout the product. But since you’ve recommended that Ren body oil I have been itching to get it.. If only it didn’t cost RM199!

Kristine March 28, 2013 at 9:55 am

I’ve always wanted to go for a backpacking trip to UK. I hope that one day I will be able to do it. Sigh :)

I’ve always been influenced to just pick up my purse and just go buy any eyeshadow you reviewed. I’m such a eyeshadow nut ;P. won’t be long before I go get the maybelling tattoo eyeshadow I reckon

Aileen March 28, 2013 at 9:59 am

1.) Dream destination has got to be Greece!
2.) Soo many! One of your reviews that definitely influenced me was your review on the Hosanna H2O Intensive Skin Plumping Serum :) I always look out hydrating products, and this serum did some magic to my skin 😉

Ivanka March 28, 2013 at 10:38 am

Hello PB!

My dream destination to visit someday is Greece as I am truly attracted to the sceneries and it will absolutely be a romantic place for honeymoon.

I have been lured and tempted to buy Yves Rocher hydra vegetal range after reading your reviews and it truly worked well on my skin. More so I have been telling all my friends that a product work amazingly well on my skin that i strongly recommended to those who came up to me complimenting my cleared skin. After all we are helping each other to find the best suitable product for each and everyone.

Kim March 28, 2013 at 10:40 am

Thanks again for this giveaway Paris :)

My dream destination would be to Maldives. Both me and hubby love the beaches!

You have influenced me lots, including what to buy and what not! Because of your reviews, I’ve bought things from local pharmacies. One that I can remember is the HADA LABO Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Lotion. I’m loving this! :)

Ann March 28, 2013 at 1:45 pm

I would love to land myself in Japan!
No, I’ve yet to be influenced to purchase anything because I’ve only just discovered and came to this blog to see what I SHOULD get! Skin care recommendations, anyone? 😀

winter March 28, 2013 at 3:14 pm

My dream destination to visit would be Maldives.

A purchase I was influenced to buy after reading your review was the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair. It works well for me and I will repurchase it.

CY March 28, 2013 at 4:42 pm

My dream destination: would be UK as I have never been there before. i am told it is a lot like a colder version of Australia, but hard to say since I’ve not been there.

I was tempted to buy a body massage promotion at Poise Organic when they had a event last year in 2012, but I decided not to get it as I wasn’t convinced enough and didn’t want to be hardsell later. (i normally go for thai massage at Ancient Thai in Scott Gardens)

thanks for the great giveaway ^^.

i would want to visit hokaido where the cherry blossom is. It really is like a fairy tale land with every cherry blossom blooming.

it would trend and skincare. i wanted to buy the skII essence because everyone keep saying that is like a miracle water but after reading the review on your page, i decided to put it on hold first and not expecting it to cure my acne in one day.

I’d love to go to Italy!

I just stumbled of this site so I haven’t had a chance to read much nor be influenced in any way yet! Will definitely come back and browse more :)

Mandy March 28, 2013 at 8:59 pm

I am going to sound cliche but my dream destination is France, both Paris and the countrysides, because that was where my best friend and I dreamed of going when we took french elective modules in university.

My memory is bad so I can’t remember all that you’ve influenced me to buy (really quite a few). The latest were cleansing oils. Kracie Naive (so-so for me) and Kose Softymo Speedy cleansing oil pink bottle (LOVE it! absolutely cheap and GOOD and going to get the my hands on the refill packs through friends who travel)

AB March 28, 2013 at 10:04 pm

Santa Barbara! If you’ve ever watched Psych (and if you haven’t, you have no idea what you’re missing!) or met anyone who’s so much as come into contact with the place, it’s absolutely amazing! I passed by Santa Barbara in a car once, long ago, when I was in California and my face was just pushed up against the glass the whole way. I’ve always regretted not stopping there then.

Hmm, howzabout all the time? Haha, I absolutely love it when you review foundations (given our similar skin tones) and I just jump on almost any that you’d recommend. Off the top of my head, there’s the Clarins Everlasting Foundation (holy grail), Dior Forever (also holy grail) and the Majolica Majorca RD255 Rouge (okay, can I call this one holy grail too?).

Tingen Yen March 28, 2013 at 11:06 pm

Jel March 29, 2013 at 3:29 am

My dream destination is Santorini, Greece. I am not a fan of beaches but something about the blue, white and water combination of this picturesque place excites me! :)

About the 2nd question, oh Missy, you have no idea. Here’s a list:

1. Hada Labo series – I spent hours in a Sasa store in Hong Kong, Guardian store in Singapore and Olive Young store in Seoul to pick/nitpick Hada Labo items. 3 products after, I concluded that my skin reacts to SHA rather badly.

2.) Yves Rocher Hydra Vegetal line – oh I am getting these stuff in KL when I visit in May. Your review was just so enticing I called up Yves Rocher in Manila but sadly, the full Hydra vegetal line is not available here yet, thus the buying in KL plan. :)

3.) Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush – trying to get this in my local Shiseido store but it’s always out of stock. Will see if I can score a piece when I visit KL by May, too.

4.) Clarisonic Mia – been wanting to get this for years now but your review sort of helped me get over my fascination. Thank Heavens I need not fork out dollars to shake me up out of it.

5.) Guerlain Meteorites – on my wishlist. I can’t fork out that much money for a highlighter just yet. I actually turn away from the Guerlain counter in HKIA last year for fear of buying. The tins were so pretty and I am afraid I’ll pay for it once I held them. XD

Hello Paris,

My dream destination would be Egypt.. Its monuments, to name a few ….the Giza pyramid complex and its Great Sphinx, were constructed by its ancient civilization, which was one of the most advanced of its time. No wonder it is one of the oldest ancient seven wonder of the world.
You won’t believe but its true that I have started using blush after following ur blog when I was 29. Now I m 31 n a blush lady.
Your reviews on kielh’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate and Meteorites forced me to burn a big hole in my pocket. But Paris, I m happy that I did so because it was a smart saving …..they last long…and the products r amazing they both give me a healthy glow.
I think I should stop now but….. last not the least to mention I still cook pumpkin your way….Thanks for everything.

My dream destination to visit is Machu Picchu in the Peruvian Andes – one of the wonders of the world, a fabulous holiday combination of history and nature’s grandeur!!

After I read your review of the Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush, I bought it the next day. Downloaded online instructional videos. Works great and i love it. Washing and drying it is a pain though.

Tiffany March 29, 2013 at 10:06 am

1. Dream destination: Egypt
2. Plenty.. One of it was the Silkygirl Moisture Max Lipgloss. A great alternative since I was on a tight budget.

Hi Paris!

Meant to do this earlier but after yesterday’s storm my ‘Net connection went wonky n so since it’s still out I hv to do this on my phone!

My dream destination is Cape Town, South Africa. I have actually been there once, but the sights and sounds were so captivating and I found myself missing the place constantly. When we first got married almost 5 years ago, hubby kept telling me that he wanted to take me to Cape Town, n described how beautiful it was there. I couldn’t believe how beautiful it could be ’til I went there myself! Photographs don’t do justice to the sights of Cape Town. Sigh… We must make a trip again soon!

Yes I have been influenced by your reviews, of course! The REN Moroccan Rose body oil is utterly DIVINE, and I absolutely love everything about it, except the price tag. Somehow my other 2 buys that were influenced by MWS, didn’t quite do it for me. The Diorskin Nude foundation, although light, was a little too ‘glowy’ (read: made my skin look oily), and the Guerlain Abeille Royale stuff put me through a rather bad experience with my skin.

These were the few most memorable items that were bought after reading your reviews. I think there were a few other too, though I can’t really remember which ones. Right now am waiting to get my hands on the RMK eyelash curler after all these years of avoiding eyelash curlers. 😀

juli1202 March 29, 2013 at 10:49 am

Greece is definitely my dream destination to visit. Must go without fail!

I love your review on Clarins White Plus HP Whitening Velvet Emulsion posted somewhere middle of 2012. I was totally sold! I love the texture so much and its did works on me.
