Lifebuoy buoys you up (and a giveaway!)

I don’t know about you but despite liking all these scented body washes and shower gels, I sometimes fall back on the regular stuff found in supermarkets. For one thing, they are more affordable :P

I remember Lifebuoy from when I was a kid way back in the mists of time. Its been around since 1894 (I’m much younger though :P ) Then, it fell off the radar (and off the shelves apparently) Recently, I noticed it making a come back with the AH1N1 influenza scare when I saw the ads on tv because Lifebuoy has hand washes and body washes that offers protection from nasty germs.

Personally, I like the body wash in ActivFresh (blue bottle) Its a fresh scent that invigorates you in your early morning shower or after a long hard day. I recently pulled a 19 hour day at work and by the time I got home, was ready to collapse on my feet. My shower with Lifebuoy ActivFresh helped me feel that tiny bit more alive before I went dead to the world in bed. Not bad for something that costs just RM10.90/500ml :)

If you want to try this for yourself, read on below to see how you can win a set of Lifebouy products – 5 sets to win = 5 winners! ;)

Since Lifebuoy prides themselves on keeping you germ free, here’s what you have to do for a chance to win a set of 3 Lifebuoy products (Liquid Body wash 300ml, soap bar and handwash) – there will be 5 winners selected by the company and prizes will be sent by the company:-

I have one tip! =)
Wash your hand properly after dealing with raw meat, before you touch the fresh vege/fruits. I know a lot of people who complete forgot that you cannot mix raw meat with vege, as you’d just cross contaminate them.

My tip: Wash your hands throughout the day and also don’t touch your nose, eyes or mouth before washing them – you never know what germs you might have touched!

Jess January 25, 2010 at 5:46 pm

have sanitizer or wet tissues around in my bag, office, car and house, so even if i cant get water to wash my hands at least I sanitize my hands :)

Personal hygiene: MUST have a bottle of hand sanitizer or a packet of wet tissues. If ever I don’t get access to washing my hands with water, these babies keep me feeling clean and fresh.

Wash your hands before touch any food though you don’t intend to eat them.
Normally, we only wash hand before eating the food.
U might just transfer the gems from your hand to the food & the victim is the next person who eat.

Replace your toothbrush when it’s time. “Invest” in a new toothbrush or a replacement head for your electric toothbrush every three to four months — or sooner if the bristles become frayed.

My tips:

Wash your hands and legs when you are back from outdoor, and before you hold or touch your baby. Make sure your kids have a proper shower by teaching them and the correct way to wash their hands and legs by showing them how to. This is important to make sure the younger ones are protected from bacteria or germs.

Rane

Keep your hands OFF of your face, nose and mouth, oh yeah, after handling cash, i.e. after paying for stuff. You never know where the cash has been!

Other than washing my hands, my way of keeping myself clean is to actually, remind myself NOT to bite my nails.

All Women Stalker January 27, 2010 at 2:21 am

Just wash your hands as often as you can :)

shaynaJo January 27, 2010 at 10:09 am

wash your face and brush your teeth before heading to bed! :D

Sapphire January 27, 2010 at 10:58 am

My tip would be wash your hands properly using the hand wash when you’re in contact with items. Carry hand sanitizers with you so that you can use it when needed and also have tissues with you just incase you need it. And to stay healthy, do also take your vitamin C’s to improve your immune system :)
