1 tip I have learnt this year for healthy skin is to use 100% Aloe Vera Gel (I’m using Fruit of the Earth’s) as a sleeping mask everynight before I go to bed.
Its no doubt that getting full 8 hours of beauty sleep plus rehydrating your body sufficient amount of water is a tip everyone should follow, these days, life of a woman can be so hectic that we have to sacrifice our sleep or drink less water just to save some time from trips to the loo.
I compensate my sleep and hydration level of my skin using 100% Aloe Vera Gel to keep my skin healthy. :)

Sleep! My complexion got really bad after burning the midnight oil for a few weeks (I hate assignments and exams!) but once I got some time to relax and sleep (a LOT) my complexion cleared up so much.

Reducing my caffeine intake and replacing it with loads of water and chloroplast helped too. :D

Protect yourself from sun by applying sunblock which keep the face well protected from UV rays which cause the premature aging.

moisturise moisturise moisturise! dehydration is the cause of all woes! i’ve switched my skincare to a basic no frills facial soap and used products containing hyaluronic acid for my toner, moisturiser and sunblock and my skin has never looked better! Also, pampering my skin with chizu saeki’s DIY lotion mask saturated with my hyaluronic acid toner is so soothing, especially after a deep cleansing clay mask!

the olive oil cleansing method though can’t do it everyday, but one week once with sugar as scrub does wonder for my skin.

For me it’s something that’s so “common sense”, it took me so long to realized.

Just plain, having daily routine wash, tone, moisturize. Key word is daily, cos before this i would sometimes skip washing my face after makeupremover cos i was too tired:(

aiyu December 2, 2009 at 8:51 pm

double cleansing, and I learned that from you ! :)

Arrie Ow December 2, 2009 at 8:55 pm

3 liters of mineral water and a good cleanser+hydrating cream. If one is missing and/or isn’t good enough, you can put on any other luxury product, your skin will never be flawless!

germaine December 2, 2009 at 10:27 pm
