Random search topic for the week

This week we have a strange query via search that asked “what is the duck peek tool called for pap smears” which led them to my post on what to expect during a pap smear. I think they meant duck beak tool which is called a scapula *giggles* thanks for spotting my mistake! Its a scepulum :)

Clarins “We Care” water bottle for charity

You might have already seen pictures of this floating around the internet. Yes, Clarins’ annual “We Care” project to benefit children homes puts a water bottle for sale at RM12 at all Clarins counters. Proceeds will go to charity and you do your bit for the environment by not using more disposable plastic bottles. I hope its BPA-free plastic :) You can see pictures by Prettybeautiful who got herself one!

Elianto Sparkling Diva Nail Polish

elianto-nail

Elianto will have 20 new Sparkling Diva nail polishes retailing at RM10 each. Sparkling Diva! Sounds so pretty right? I’d like to sport something sparkling on my nails since its the end of year and all when party season starts to kick in :D

Nandos Peri Hearty Meal

nandos

Nandos introduces a Peri Hearty meal which promises to be nutritionally balanced – grilled peri chicken, delicious rice and vegetables make up the meal together with a Diet Coke available now until 3 January 2010 for RM17.80. I’ve always enjoyed eating at Nandos – my first experience was at Earl’s Court London and I enjoyed it so much my parents and I went back twice before we came back! So of course when it arrived on our shores we were pleased as punch :)

Now my makan-kakis when shall we go to Nando’s next?

Birthday parties galore!

Today sees me torn in half as I dash from one birthday party to another. One’s by my childhood friend who is throwing a party for her adorable son who’s turning 1 and another is a un-surprise birthday party for a friend. Both are starting at the same time OMG! :P So, have they figured out how to clone people yet? :P

Enjoy the weekend everyone!

The duck beak like thingy is called a Speculum.. hehe.
Spatula is the one they use to scrape some of the cells on the lining of your cervix. :)
