I just recently celebrated mine.
With my significant others at Midvalley foodcourt.
Oh-so-simple but i treasured every moment spend together.
I am one year older.
nothing to complaint but to feel blessed.
i celebrated my birthday this year with a super swollen cheek due to my wisdom tooth, and not able to enjoy my own birthday cake and dinner… *sobs* had to get it extracted immediately the next day…
on the bright side, i am wisdom-tooth-free now, so this will not happen again for my future birthdays… !!
My birthday is coming soon, on november lol
. For the past 7 years, I always celebrated my birthday alone, on my flight back to my hometown. Bummer, I know. So this year is going to be fabulous!
(despite having a paper the following day
)
I’m planning to celebrate it with my besties and my little sister, perhaps just some casual dinner.
This is the first time I can celebrate my birthday with my friends and my family together

hopefully i get a day off from work and just spend some quiet time all by myself. lol. life has been pretty hectic lately, so i really would love some peace and quiet
but then again, it’s about 1 month from now, things might just change! LOL.
My birthday was like any ordinary friends gatherings, Its just like old buddies gathering in Shogun and well, chit chats and reminiscing old high school memories as if things happened years back but its old a year ago.
Nothing fancy, photo sessions and any gatherings that we normally do, but it sure does memorable. Plus, birthday is something once a year though.
i had a silent birthday this year coz bf mom passed away not long before my bday… so we doesn’t want to make it big… just a simple dinner with my family at home…
For my birthday, bf gave me a budget for new clothes, facial and even some yoga classes! And a special dinner with him!
Whoooaa babe what a prize!
I celebrated my birthday by attending someone else’s birthday party. The lady was dying of cancer and my parents asked if I would mind forgoing my own celebration and attend hers. How does one say, no, nevermind the nice dying lady, I want my own party? So of course we went. (She’s still going strong btw, if you’re wondering)
My birthday was sort of special… I got a birthday wish from a person that I liked, and even got a present from him. He gave me one of the stuff that he treasured. So even though its used, it was one of the things he loved, so I was totally happy that he actually gave it to me! So this years birthday was most definitely a tad bit more special then the previous years
I celebrated mine in an old-fashioned way. Eat – sleep- enjoy.
I didn’t went to anywhere fancy but I’m happy coz I have the happiest time with my family and loved ones.
My upcoming 21st bday which falls on the 25th, will be spent on a simple lunch with friends, dinner with family AND THEN a night out with my friends to WATCH FOOTBALL! Yes, the big ManU v Liverpool match (Liverpool all the way!)
Hopefully, my bday will be a lucky day for my team so we will end up winning and an email notification (from you! hopefully! haha..) will just be icing on the cake! =)
Have a blessed Friday!
I’m going to Bali and enjoy the sand, waves and sun
looking forward to that..
Took a day off, and spent the whole day at Andana Spa at Glenmarie ! Sauna, Steam bath, massage, body scrub, face facial, manicure & padicure, FOC meals, watched Astro, latest magazines issue (Cleo, Female, Women’s Weekly, Nu Yu, etc).
OMG! so heart the eyeshadow!! but I’m a winner already~~
Good luck to everyone else!
Anyway, I celebrated my birthday with my friends in Karaoke Room~^^
My birthday this year, its started 2 days earlier.. it was a night out with my secondary school mates, which i havent met in ages.. was amazing.. the dinner and the companionship.. My bday eve, belonged to my better half, we went for dinner at Jogoya and after that, met up with my cousins at a night club and partied the night away! on my bday, i spent the day with my brothers and their family, and it ended with us having a nice ice blended drink at Starbucks, my favourite place
and next day, i met up with my best frens from college..
:):):):) It was great to have so many ppl with me to celebrate my turning into a quarter of a century old!
Oh, i gt an iPod touch for my bday
I just celebrated mine yesterday which nearly made me cry as my mom said that she has no money to celebrate yesterday and to wait till she has the money till the end of the money. As a daughter i do understand and i told her no worries as it’s not really important to celebrate it, to remember and birthday kiss is the most best present i can’t wait from her. Whereas my fiance told me that he can’t celebrate this year again as he has no money due to family problem. Again i understand his situation and i know that he tried to save up some money to celebrate my birthday but yet some circumstances that can’t be avoid. As it’s end of the month, i told him to wait till the pay day so that we can go celebrate together with my parent.
But yet yesterday morning, my boss, who always hear my problem, asked where am i going to celebrate my birthday? So i told him that i’m not going anywhere as due to low financial. He said no worries, we celebrate together. He went to out and bought a big black forest cake and drinks and asked me to call few colleagues to join the small birthday party. I was so flattered and nearly burst into tears seeing all the trouble my boss did. Even my bestfriend at the office bought a slice of cake and a chocolate even tough i know she on the budget too. I really appreciated them so much and this is the best ever birthday i ever had hence most memorable.
it was’nt very special, i was alone when i celebrated it. I put on make up in my room, and capture my own pictures, just to remind me that im a year older. Again. Then i went out for dinner with a couple of my friends.
I celebrated my birthday with a nice dinner with my close friends from high school, college and university. It was a blast and I even had a huge surprise with a cake from delectable.
My birthday was in July. It was a simple celebration but a very happy one because my 8 year old son co-ordinated the whole thing.
Both he and his father went to Baskins Robbin to get me an ice-cream birthday cake (my favourite one). Then they quickly sneaked into the kitchen and switch off the lights and closed the door. I pretended I did not see all these happening.
My son then shouted for me to go to the kitchen and when I opened the door, I was so touched seeing my son carrying the cake with all the candles lighted and started singing “Happy Birthday” song. He said “Happy Birthday, Mummy!”
I was so touched. This is worth more to me than any expensive gifts.
i always had a quiet birthday celebration every year, n this year is no different. but it started off quite disappointing because hubby said he didnt have time to get a pressie for me the night before. so it was a surprise when i saw a pink paperbag outside our bedroom the next morning n it contains a patent red fitflop, thanks to ur review!
we had a nice dinner afterwards
This year I did not get to celebrate my birthday because of the highly contagious illness..Chickenpox.. *Sob..sob..Sob*
And due to the current global pandemic flu.. nobody is allowed to visit me *Sob..sob..Sob*
However, am truly grateful to our Almighty God that I am a lil’ more fortunate than those pandemic flu victims, Taiwan Thyphoon Morakot victims and etc disasters..
I am also truly grateful that my mom had taken care of me on my birthday with all her Tender… Loving.. Care (OK. Sorry peeps..I know today is not Mother’s Day) But..only then I realised.. my birthday should always be dedicated to my mom and to remember all her sacrifices for bringing me into her life and to this beautiful world.. My birthday in years to come will be celebrated with my mom because all her priceless sacrifices are truly cherished.. Happy Birthday to me and I LOVE YOU MOM!
My birthday fell on mid autumn festival this year.
My friends threw me a mid autumn festival bbq cum surprise birthday party.

I celebrated with family with a traditional-like cake-cutting ceremony
Wheee!! I got to blow candles!! (you know how many but I ain’t saying here)
Celebrated my birthday this year in moderacy:
- went out to Pizza Hut with my family for spaghetti… I had this crazy craving for spaghetti that time and was begging for my mom to make some~
- got $$$ as gift from my parents but unable to even touch it. It was already banked in.
- also got a brown little teddy bear that says ‘I love you!’ when pressed in the middle.
But it was kinda sad ’cause I didn’t get a cake this year…
It was nothing special this year. Just dinner with the family
