When I received a bagful of gifts from 2 very dear friends recently, I was gobsmacked. Not only was it brimming with all sorts of cosmetics goodies, it contained some items personally handmade by them.
2 very talented friends, might I add! One knitted me a gorgeous red Baktus scarf which is a triangular scarf I can tie around my neck, and an adorable cream drawstring pouch. All of pure wool ahh… they are so soft…!! The scarf is going to come in so handy soon. Too warm for Malaysian weather of course but there’s always travels! 
Another made a gorgeous set of seed pearl jewelry – pearl earrings and a floating pearl choker necklace. This one was a little unexpected but a very pleasant surprise nonetheless!

I love both sets of gifts along with all the rest of the goodies that came in the bag. These gifts deserved a special mention because the best gifts I’ve ever received are those made by hand. Anyone who’s going to spend all that time working on something just for you must really like you, yes? Haha…
