Comments on: Bobbi Brown Ivy League collection and Cleansing Oil – some thoughts

I was just wondering if someone could tell me if using a cleansing oil generally will make your face break out? I have always had very clear skin, (dry) and only break out with one or two before my period. I just switched to using the BB cleansing oil, and suddenly I have about 10 or more pimples all over my face! Its very humid here, so I thought that was the culprit, but I am starting to wonder?? I use all BB products for my skin care routine, and nothing of her’s has every broken my face out before….any suggestions?

Yes Shu Uemura is the pioneer in the whole cleansing oil business – only problem they break me out – sigh…

I haven’t tried Laneige but if you don’t use cleansing oil that often then its always good to splurge on something you love that works for you! Honestly, the Bobbi Brown one is quite nice – its just too similar to the I Nuovi one for me

thanks for your input on the cleansing oil! My I Nuovi one is almost finishing too. guess my next pick won’t be BB! I like the model’s makeup though.

My heart will still go back to Shu Uemura for both eye shadows and cleansing oil. Their pigmentation is very good & intense and the powder doesn’t splatter below my lower lash when you apply unlike Stila. But Bobby brown has pretty nice earthy tone tho and all the pretty ‘safe’ colours….:)
