in Facial, You Asked?

ask us!

Friday! We made it through the week! :)

You, my dear readers, have not let me down yet with your useful suggestions over the past 2 weeks. So today, I need to pick your brains further.

Gal pal Geekchic from Melbourne, Australia asked in a previous comment:-

PB, I’m always game for good facials. Have you come across any good ones in Melbourne that does not cost an arm and a leg and my first born? :P

Not being in Melbourne or even on the same continent as Geekchic, I found myself at a loss for an answer!

I do my own home facials once a week if I remember or feel the need but nothing beats going to a beauty salon once a month and getting yourself pampered for the 1 or 2 hours where its all about YOU!

So gals in Australia, or Melbourne or if you have pals in Melbourne lets help a fellow facial fan out:-

Where can you get good affordable facials in Melbourne, Australia?

Circulate this. Email your friends but lets find some answers!

If you’d like a question featured do email me at parisb {at} mywomenstuff {dot} com and we’ll all chip in and help you get an answer!

Stay beautiful

I’ve been to a couple here in Melb. They’re not as good as what I’ve experienced at the Kanebo International Salon in Penang (and in KL for you :) ), but for the experience, it wouldn’t cost you your first born :)

Sakura Lounge, CBD – The facial I tried was packaged into the body massage package I purchased. I’m not certain of the products they used, but the facial massage and overall service were excellent. Very value for money.

Pure Indulgence, Chadstone (I think they have a branch at the CBD as well) – Look out for their monthly or seasonal specials. The one that they’re currently running, their hydrating facial, is pretty good. It’s $105, lasts 75 mins, and you get a free hand cream.

My next facial to try would be at Endota Spa. The place looks very good, but is quite pricey. I’m just waiting for any good promos coming up before giving it a go :)

I often go for Ella Bache’s facials and body treatments. I find them pretty good. Their Triple Expresso Facials and Eye Radiance Treatment is not bad for $105, but I often just go for a Signature Facial which lasts for an hour for $95. I go to the one in Melbourne Central, the place and environment at the Ella Bache there is not bad.

Speaking about facials, I am wondering about the good ones in KL/PJ. Besides Clarins, Kanebo and Lancome. I am sure there are others. I hope others will share their knowledge too.

Sorry i have never been to Melbourne thus don’t know any. But it is good to know for when i go there!
