ooh i can't believe i missed this post. i've tried a whole bunch of e/s primers... so far nothing that's good AND cheap, lol. e/s primers are so YMMV but personally for me, i would rank them like so: (1) UDPP (2) ArtDeco (3) MAC Paints in the metal tube (4) MAC Paint Pots (5) just regular concealer (6) TFSI (7) Elianto e/s primer. that's right, TFSI sucked on me. i haven't personally tried but i'd like to toss in another suggestion: Laura Mercier Eye Basics. they're supposed to make good e/s primers too, and comes in several shades to match your skintone.

UDPP feels rubbery after using it for some time. it's pricey and i don't like the packaging. i prefer benefit eye primer. smells good too!

Hi Ayu

You know what? You are absolutely right! The Maybelline Impact eyeshadow pencil makes a great base. Thanks for reminding me.

I've tried Too Faced Shadow Insurance before as it is sold at Sephora in Singapore but they do not work well for me. when used on the hands for swatching, they do help in making the colors more bright and less difficult to remove (ie, the color stays albeit abit less vibrant, even tho I rinsed my hands) but they do nothing for my lids, it creases within hours for me.'
I'm looking at getting UDPP now coz I cant live without a proper e/s primer!

My eyelids are oily and my eyeshadow's ALWAYS crease but recently I laid my hands on the Urban Decay Primer Potion and it's the most fantastic product I've ever come across. I got it off eBay from a seller based in Spore for RM75 (free shipping) but I also found it in Macau when I went recently and it was much cheaper at only RM50 after conversion. Alternatively if you have friends in the UK, ask them to get it or send it to you. You'll never want to use another primer again.

If you can't get your hands on UDPP, I have tried Bobbi Brown's Long Wear Cream Eyeshadow and seriously, it NEVER creases. I tested it by putting it on in the early morning and having a day out in the sun and till late night, it never creased at all. Hope this helps...

I swear by UDPP. It really helps the eyeshadow last longer without creasing. I tried foundations and concealers but they never worked for me.
