Do we remember my little review of the new Lumiere Cosmetics makeup brushes? Were you chaffing at the bit to get at them?
Well, 2 very lucky readers could win themselves either the Kabuki brush or the 9 piece brush set! Loving Minerals has generously sponsored these 2 lovely brushes/sets so here’s what you have to do to win.
[note]
Tell us one brush that you currently need and what you look for in a makeup brush.
e.g. I need a fluffy blush brush because my MAC129SE is scratching me silly and I look for softness and precise application.
Update: Please read the full requirements or risk disqualification.
[/note]
The contest runs until 21 May 2009 (12 noon) and is only open to readers in Malaysia and Singapore. Winners of the 2nd Anniversary Giveaway and the Mother’s Day Giveaway are excluded. Winners will be drawn by lucky draw and first name out of the hat gets the 9 piece brush set, and the 2nd name out of the hat gets the kabuki brush.
If you win and I see your email address in the email subscription list, I’ll throw in a couple of extra freebies for you when I send the prize!
All clear? Go comment!
Good luck!

need a fluffy eyeshadow brush that doesn’t scratch my eyelids and irritate them T.T
hello =)
i need a kabuki/powder brush cos i’ve been using the sponges and puffs (i don’t have a brush, boo T.T )and it doesn’t gives you the more polished look that you can achieve by using a brush.
would be nice if i could win it has been wanting this since i’ve read the review on the lumiere brushes =p
WOOT! because one can never have too many brushes!!
I need a blush brush because my currrent one doesn’t work that well. I’m looking for brushes that are dense enough to transfer powder/blush to my face.
I’m a poor student on a budget and I own only 1 kabuki which I use for all purposes. It’d be great to own a set actually, but if I had to choose it’d be a foundation brush (which I will use for ALL purposes haha!). My current and only one scratches me, and rubs off all my concealor. Was awfully disappointedthe moment I received it in the mail
Brushes ought to be soft, and can apply/blend thinly and naturally.
the 9 piece brush would be sooo perfect since i’m needing the baby buki crease brush to experiment on, n i really love travel sized stuffs
the 9 piece brush would be sooo perfect since i’m needing the mini eye buki crease brush to experiment on, n i really love travel sized stuffs
I need a stippling brush to apply my newly bought BB creams. I go for brushes with soft bristles because I have sensitive skin which give the airbrush effect.
In fact, I need a skunk / duo fiber brush and kabuki brush for my mineralise foundation and finishing powder. I’ve seen a lot of people do recommend skunk n kabuki brush for even and smooth application. MAC brushes r way too expensive for my budget. my job requires me to travel ard. With a travel set brushes, it’ll b such a compliment.
Entry Excluded: Winner of 2nd Anniversary Giveaway.
My brushes is terribly shedding,(HELP!) and I wish to have a chance to try good quality ones, especially the Eye Kabuki or the Angled Thin liner brush. My liner brush is pocking my eye area and I am looking for a gentle yet perfect application brush my new gel liners.
I would want the whole set of brush I think.
Why? Because I didn’t get my mother anything for mothers day or her Birthday.
And She wears makeup every single day. She has sensitive skin so its hard for her to find a soft yet precise and unharmful brushes for her skin.
i would love to get my hands on those travel sets because i never had one…
currently the brush i needed the most is the blush brush because right now the brush am using had hard bristle, small and hard to apply….

I need a kabuki brush in my current collection of brushes simply because I don’t have one! Hehe. =)
I will need a good brush for my blush!can never seem to blush the right way…haih
and I would definetely look for softness…its our face we’re talkin about!oh n also how a brush aids in application!I own this flat top kabuki, and I never want to admit that a good brush does all the job for you till I used it
i want all the brushes because i want to look like a supermodel!
i need a whole set of make up brushes as i dont own any make upbrush, except for a scratchy blusher brush from elianto that i have been using for the last 2 years..=>
I’m in need of a complete set of brushes because i just started using makeup and i haven’t got any brushes at all! And i definitely don’t want any scratchy stiff brushes.
I want the kabuki brush because i need it.
I just started my brush collection. So I currently need a good eyeshadow brush, because the brushes I have now are a little scratchy and doesn’t blend eye makeup well.
I need a firm firm soft KABUKI!!!! So so so so so despo to get a kabuki but didn’t know how to pick 1… sobz… i want that kabuki…. ><”
Hi PB, I need a new set of eyeshadow brushes because the MAC ones I have aren’t top quality. Would be good to finally have a great set to apply my eyeshadows with!
I need a powder brush.
What I have is either too big, thus hard to bring it around in my purse or even for travelling purpose. ANd those smaller ones are too scratchy on my skin!!~~ URRGGHH. I would love a smaller size powder brush which can be easily brought out and yet soft without scratching my skin. ^^
I would like to have the travel set so that my boyfriend won’t complain that I bring too much girly stuff that takes up the luggage space!
I need a blush brush; haven’t found one that applies right for me!
Oh, forgot to mention what I look for in brushes – ease of washing, softness, bristles that don’t fall out easily, and short handles since I tend to carry quite a few brushes around.
