I guess sometimes its expectations as well. There must be a reason why cheap products sometimes don’t work as well.

I do agree with you that we are all different, hence the many many types of products in the market! For me, very expensive products have killed my skin too so I”m always wary of all products. I do experiment with colours, just not every cheap colour I come across but as I always stress, its a matter of preferance as we all have our own likes and dislikes and different tolerance levels

I don’t see why you can’t take legal action if it turns out bad for you and the company does not want to take responsibility for it. Its true everywhere in the world – just whether consumers really bother to enforce their rights.

It looks like most of us are pretty fussy about skincare but less so about cosmetics. I’m not that fussy about big names so long as they are established

I guess this is what most of us are like too – we gravitate towards certain brands for certain things but I mean brand snob in the sense of whether you would opt for an established brand or be happy to try anything including non-branded stuff.

If you have sensitive skin, the best thing is to stick to something that you know works well for you – sometimes, its a curse not to be able to buy cheap but if its going to kill your skin, don’t risk it eh?
