You should really try these...they are not 'BRIGHT' like they appear to be. They actually go on quite sheer. And, Bobbi suggests wearing them independently, putting a light layer over your lid. The difference between this line and the others that look so similar is quality. Those other palettes use a lot of talc. Bobbi doesn't do that. That's why you only need a little bit. I think you should definitely try this out even if it's just in the store...

Hi Jooj: I don't think anyone retains much control once they sell out - look at Stila!

IMO, this palette is beyond *meh*. it seems like a cheap trick, coming from BB. even if she was doing more color, which she is judging from the Xmas collection, this is not the way to go. really out of character. makes me wonder how much control over the brand she retains after selling it to estee lauder...

The whole problem about this palette for me is that like what you and the others have said, it's just too generic looking. If they had come out with a series of targeted color ranges, now that I might check out.

Hi L: Thanks for your thoughts. I guess with matte colours, its easier to go "natural" with lighter shades rather than all out pigmented glam look. Still, I'll check it out in person when it gets here but the picture threw me for a loop.

Hey Monstro: Like I said, I wonder if its a test :P But then I'm cynical. I'll quiz the Bobbi Brown girls once it gets here on the best way to use this palette.

Hi Kahani: Yep, it was the whole generic nature of this palette that got to me more than how colourful it is. I'd be interested to see it in real life though - it will be an education that's for sure LOL
