My experience with Majolica Majorca and a Giveaway!

Since Majolica Majorca is now available in Malaysia, I thought it would be a good time to review the products I’ve tried and give everyone a nice boost to the start of the week with a Giveaway!!

Majolica Majorca eyeshadow and blush

So far, I’ve not tried many products as I had to get them from Japan before this and getting makeup products sight unseen can have unexpected results. The 3 products I have tried are the single eyeshadows, blush and Majolook eyeshadow palettes. (Keep reading - There’s a giveaway at the end of this post that’s open to all readers WORLDWIDE! ;) )

Majolica Majorca Shadow Customize - Eyeshadow Singles

I used to have a whole bunch of Majolica Majorca eyeshadow singles in a selection of colours. However, I later gave them away because I discovered I was allergic to the eyeshadows! They made my eye lids feel heavy and irritated. This is similar to what I experienced with Shiseido eyeshadows so since Majolica Majorca comes under Shiseido it might be something to do with the ingredients. I only kept GR723 because I like the colour - a shimmery khaki green.

Allergies aside, I think the Majolica Majorca eyeshadow singles are very impressive for the price. Retailing at RM20.90 each here in Malaysia, I place them in the affordable category. The texture is silky and the colour very pigmented. Shimmer is minimal or eye catching depending on the texture you choose. If you are familiar with Japanese style makeup, you will be familiar with the soft touch texture of the eyeshadow.

The case itself is very cute too. Each rectangular eyeshadow pan comes in a cute transparent sliding drawer style packaging that is very unique. There is a hole at the back where you can push out the eyeshadow pan and place it in an empty palette you can purchase separately.

Rating: ★★★☆☆ because of allergies but Rating: ★★★★☆ for product

Majolica Majorca Cheek Customize - Blush

The Blush comes in the same sort of packaging as the eyeshadow singles. However I feel this places the size at a bit of an advantage because it is rather narrow. This makes the pan a little narrow for your blush brush and you will end up with a stripe of colour on the brush rather than having it diffused.

Colour wise, the blush I have in RD255 is a pink-peach tone that I have compared to Nars Orgasm. The texture is smooth and the colour is pigmented. Fortunately, I am not allergic to the blush as I am with the eyeshadow :) I wouldn’t mind picking up a couple more and at RM29.90 each its not exactly breaking my bank. Colour selection is a little small though with only 4 colours at the counter if I recall correctly.

Rating: ★★★★☆

I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Majolica Majorca mascara so some day I might try them. At about RM45.90 they are slightly more expensive than Maybelline or L’oreal but if it is good, its better than having to pay RM90+ at a department store.

Despite the good reviews in general about this brand and its affordable prices, I have never personally been drawn to it. The Majolica Majorca line has a girly princessy feel and very lovely packaging, but partly due to this, I am less attracted to the brand. I just feel its a brand that too “young” for me which unfortunately makes me feel old :P I place it in the same category as Kate (as the prices are rather similar) and I can see it giving Kate a run for its money.

GIVEAWAY!!!

Here’s the deal. Next month, October is my birthday month! Yay! :)

But I’m feeling generous… So, with Majolica Majorca’s recent introduction here in Malaysia and so much buzz about this brand, I’ve decided that I will give away 2 sets of Majolica Majorca products (1 Shadow Customize and 1 Honey Pump Gloss) to 2 lucky readers!! Just to be clear, I’m not affiliated to Majolica Majorca at this time and I’m doing this because I want to thank all you loyal readers for your support :)

The reason there are 2 sets of prizes is this:-

  • one set is reserved for residents of Malaysia because nothing beats home ground support - yay!; and
  • one set is for readers from the the rest of the world! Yes, for the first time, I’ve decided to include all my international readers in this giveaway so you aren’t left out of the fun! :D

Participation is easy. Just sign up as an email subscriber if you have not already done so (the form is on the sidebar or just below this post) and remember to ACTIVATE your subscription. No activation, no entry. The email you use to sign up will be the one I contact you at for your particulars if you win.

Subscribing has its advantages. Future giveaways may have clues hidden inside the email updates you receive or may only be open to subscribers (I haven’t quite decided). I have a major giveaway planned for the end of the year so you don’t want to miss out. You are welcome to spread the word to your friends and family - the more the merrier :)

When you are done, come back here and leave a comment using the same email you subscribed at (but don’t include your email in the body of your comment), saying:-

  1. you have subscribed by email and where you are from; and
  2. tell me which Watsons store I visited to see this collection (Tip: Answer in my previous Majolica Majorca in Malaysia post ;) )
  3. any comment you may have about the brand or its products (optional).

e.g.

Hi, I’ve subscribed by email and I’m from Antartica. The Watsons store you went to was (I’m not telling you am I?!) and Majolica Majorca is so cute even the penguins love it!

The winners will be chosen at random after the closing date and I will be in touch after that. See… easy peasy!

Aren’t you thrilled? I am :)

ARGH I’m missing out again! :(

  2. Tine September 29, 2008 3:09 pm

Oh wait, I missed out the second part. I can enter! YAY!!! :D

Okay, I’ve subscribed and I’m living in Melbourne. You first saw MM at Watsons KLCC. As for my take on MM, well, to tell you the truth, I’ve never tried any of their makeup before. I’ve seen a lot of it in Japan though, and I always thought “ahh I’d get some before I leave”. And when I really did leave Japan for good, I totally forgot about it :(

Good packaging, although I won’t really call it CUTE cute. It’s girly, but not too girly, which is what I like.

    And that’s it!

  3. beetrice September 29, 2008 3:51 pm

haha…trust Tine to be the first!!

I’ve subscribed via email (but already had you in my Google Reader! Does that count??) and you saw Majolica Majorca at the lovely Watsons store in KLCC. Now comes the fun part - I’ve heard great things about MM, but never had the chance to try it out…and I’m seriously intrigued by the “pull out” design of the packaging!

PS: If I win, I’ll sing Happy Birthday to you…LOL!! :D

  4. ParisB September 29, 2008 3:54 pm

    @beetrice :

*giggles* Ooh is that bribery? ;) Unfortunately I can’t track Google Reader.

  5. wen September 29, 2008 4:06 pm

    hi!
i’ve just subscribed and im from spore =)
i’ve been an anonymous reader for quite a while,
and got ur link from lotus palace’s blog =D

it’s watsons at KLCC, and well,
i’ve always wanted to try their blushes and eyeshows,
but HK’s SaSa stores dont have testers for them,
and im not brave enough to buy a shade that ive not tried,
in case the colours make me look like a clown. haha.

but i got my friend to help me get their neo automatic liner and their lash extend mascara.
    both worked really fine! smudge-free!
nth ive tried so far stays smudge-free on me, so they’re my HGs now =)
but that mascara doesnt seem to be on the list that u had in ur previous entry on MM,
only the volumizing one is, so im wondering if they’re bringing that into asia.

    yups,
    tt’s all!
    thanks~

    Hi, I’ve subscribed by e-mail & I’m from Malacca.
The Watson’s store you went to was in KLCC. Majolica Majorca is a brand I’m attracted to because of their lovely packaging & superb quality, all for a relatively small price :)
Psst… October’s my birthday month as well! ;)

  7. plue September 29, 2008 5:08 pm

    hi there!

plue here, from KL. always been spamming you (if there’s anything that catches my little sepet eyes) and have been subscribing long time!

    you went to KLCC’s watsons.

i am a bit weird to even join this, but for the fun of it, oh well! :P

hm… i like the e/s for a fact they are cheap, quite pigmented and i do like the packaging. although i wish their palettes have different set of colours instead of repeating it almost every season!

their blusher collection is small, 4 colours only. but it has good colour payoff, but er… the one labeled as RD doens’t come out as RED as i thought it would, instead it’s like a peach pink colour? weird…

and i love their honey pump gloss! nice colours and cheap! me like!

and mascaras, what can i say? i bought them but haven’t use them, i have Heroine Make to finish off :P But going by reviews, i say it’s a great little item :D

OT: i think malaysian beauty bloggers ought to meet up! it’d be fun to chat!

    cheers,
    plue

    -Have subscribed!
    -Watson’s KLCC.
-I don’t have much of an opinion on the actual MM products yet since I haven’t tried them. But judging from your pics and the website, I really like the attitude and creativity of the brand! Would love to get my grubby hands on them!
-AND I’m also an October baby *high five*!!

  9. Natalie September 29, 2008 5:46 pm

Hi PB, I’ve subscribed and I’m from Perak. You went to Watson store in KLCC. The best part I found about Majolica Marjoca is its name–Special!& sounds delicious (for no reason:-)) and its logo which emblazed with Golden crown!! I was in Penang when you mentioned about its opening, but sadly, can’t find it in Png yet since the opening date here is 9th Oct.:-(

  10. Josephine September 29, 2008 7:28 pm

    Hi.
I’ve just subscribed and I’m from Kuala Lumpur.
You went to Watson’s store in KLCC to see the Majolica Majorca collection.
Although I personally haven’t used any of Majolica Majorca’s product before, I would like to try it out as it seems to me that the price is affordable, with cute packaging and nice colors (from the pictures that you have provided).

  11. entwined September 29, 2008 7:32 pm

hello! just subscribed to your feedburner, although i have you on my bloglines list :) privately subscribed cos i’m shy like that :P

you went to watsons KLCC and that shade of deep moss foresty green eyeshadow is gorgeous! it’s seriously tempting me to go out and get one even though i don’t wear makeup (because i don’t know how to :/. but the colour is sooooo rich i just have this insane need to see how it looks on my skin. :P (thank goodness it’s only opening in MV on oct 7th :P)

  12. lyn September 29, 2008 9:06 pm

great to hear this. i don’t have to go to HK to stock up on MM anymore. BTW i realized that sasa / bonjour will keep MM products in the counter, not sure why.

have only tried their lash extend mascara and neo automatic liner. i have the oiliest lids and none of the high end waterproof mascaras ever lasted but their mascara is smudge free under the hot weather - so is their liner.

  13. rzrz September 29, 2008 10:12 pm

Well, u went to Watson’s KLCC to look at the collection and i really hope that Watson’s here can do the same by bringing in more cosmetic brands so that i can get them easily! LOLL. Judging by the packaging and the good reviews and most importantly, affordable price, i would really like to try this brand. I hope it works really well for oily skin. thanks :)

u first saw Majolica Majorca in Watson’s KLCC.

i did go n check it out in Watson’s Sunway Pyramid last night, n boy, aren’t they the cutest! i especially love the blushers, the texture is good n the packaging is handy to lug into my handbag. but then again, all MM’s range are handy for travelling :D sadly i didn’t buy any since i juz bought the Estee Lauder Blockbuster Set (before reading ur entry! sadness) which burnt a hole in my pocket (n i don’t want my hubby to nag again if i buy any more in the near future) but i’m sure he won’t be nagging any time if i got MM for free! :D

    Hi,

I would like to wish you a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY and HAPPY ALWAYS.

I’ve just subscribed and I’m from Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
    You saw MM at Watsons,KLCC.

I personally have not try MM and I saw them at Watson, Sg Wang last Sunday. But didn’t get one as the eyeshadows n lippies variety quite wide for me as i seldom put make up on. I cant make up my mind which to buy and if possible would like to try each of them and buy them all :) Besides that, my bf keep nagging me to ask me to make a move as I’m browsing, testing n looking at MM section about 45 mins and yet I can’t make up my mine which one to get :(

I’ve read alot about MM at MM website, LYN, Malaysiababes, Cozycot, also ur blog and also musingsofamuse.com blog. I love the packaging, colours and varieties too. Very girly and handy packaging I would say.

Hope I have the luck to win the MM goodies from you.

    Thank you and cheers.

  26. caixiuxiu September 30, 2008 12:50 pm

    Hi…happy birthday day to u :)

I have subscribed and I from Kuala Lumpur.

You saw Majolica Majorca at KLCC Watsons…I personally like this brand so much. I can still remember that i bought the 24 hr Fantasia Powder, lip gloss and eyeshadow when I 1st traveled to Taiwan at year 2005, and the brand just launched at Taiwan Watsons on the same time. Furthermore, i continue to stock up at KL but via online shopping, of course with extra $$$….

I am over joyful now as i can purchase the product at KL, and need not to waste extra $ to pay for the courier charge.

    Thanks for the sharing!

  27. Cyndi September 30, 2008 1:03 pm

Hi! Cyndi here I have subscribed by email and I’m from Kuala Lumpur. You went to Watsons KLCC. Even though I have not tried out any Majolica Majorca myself due to its previous unavailability in Malaysia, I have always been attracted by their lovely packaging. I am really happy when I heard the news that they are already in Malaysia. It is just so hard not to love this brand, isn’t it? They are too pretty that every girl should at least own one item from this brand =P . This might be my favourite drugstore brand after Kate since I am a big fan of Japanese make up =P .

Anyway, I hope I am lucky enough to be able to win the goodies from you =) .

    Happy Birthday, PB. =)

  28. Nette September 30, 2008 1:16 pm

It’s packaging are pretty normal I won’t really call it cute and pretty.

:D Hye, I have just subscribed although I had always been following your blog through a feed burner. I am from Malacca, Malaysia.

The location of the store that you visited is Watson KLCC.

I really love the princessy packaging while reading about raves of MM from blogs; ergo, had been waiting for it to reach Malaysia since ages ago. Gonna check the counters out on my next trip to KL ;)

    Thanks!!

  34. Raksha September 30, 2008 8:37 pm

Hi! I’ve just subscribed and I’m from good ol’ KL!

You first spotted MM at the Watsons in KLCC.

I’ve been ogling MM for quite a bit and finally grabbed some to try when I hit Japan during summer and hauled back their eyeshadows, blushers and mascaras for meself and as pressies for my chicas. Personally, I love “Lash Gorgeous Wings” and the OR322 blusher makes me look just peachy indeed.

What really rocks about MM is their eyeshadows though! I’ve got both the Majolook Trick in GR750 and BR751 and I’m loving it! A friend from Japan’s actually visiting me and I was planning to bribe him (yes, bribe a GUY) to help me haul more MM stuff over but since it’s now in Malaysia…he can now get me other stuff instead, maybe Aube or Albion Eprise! Whee!

So there. My 2 cent’s (or more?) worth on MM. Lol!

  35. bunny October 1, 2008 12:54 am

I’m a subscriber! :) And I’m from KL! The Watsons store you went to was at KLCC. Majolica Majorca looks so cute! I’m so excited :))

  36. Ant October 1, 2008 1:04 am

Hi! I’ve just completed my subscription, and I’m from KL.

You first spotted MM at KLCC - Watson.

I’ve noticed the wonderful range of MM from Taiwanese & Japanese Mags(very attractive advert, I must say) but have yet to try it (am not the adventurous type to order cosmetic online :p) … now that its here in KL, gotta check it out this holiday season.

  37. Tine October 1, 2008 8:05 am

Alamak so many international contestants. I have some serious competition here, folks. Tee hee :p

I have subsribed and I am from Petaling Jaya.
You first spotted Majolica Majorca at KLCC’s watson.
I have been lemming MJ products for sometime as I have heard so much from them and I was always tempted to join their pre-orders but I stopped myself due to the waiting time and cost :P.
Now they are in Malaysia I can’t wait to get watson and get myself a haul!!!!
    *excited*

  39. shinokay October 1, 2008 1:02 pm

Anyway, I’m so happy you made this open to international readers!!! I envy on all the Korean and Japanese makeup you feature here on your blog cuz it’s not available here in the US :(. Everything is soo prettyyyyy. Btw, my birthday is on October too :)

  41. ping October 1, 2008 7:31 pm

ahha i am so tempted to join. when i found out bout MM here, i went to buy thier mascara… quite expensive though… sigh..

  42. Lisa October 2, 2008 12:00 am

Hi, I have subscribed by email and activated my subscription. I’m from Malaysia.
You visited the KLCC Watsons to see the Majolica Majorca’s collection.
I have been longing to feel and touch the products by Majolica Majorca myself ever since I got to know about this brand from the famous Taiwanese TV programme. Finally it’s in Malaysia!! I’m really excited about it and I am finally standing in front of the Majolica Majorca’s display counter to try out some of their products today at Sungei Wang Watsons. I love both the packaging and the quality of their products! I have always been a fan of Shiseido products and the Majolica Majorca’s line would definitely add on to my favourite list.
    Happy Birthday to you!! :)

  43. KS October 2, 2008 12:22 pm

    Okay!! I’ve subscribed!!!

I’m KS and I am from your good ol’ neighbour Singapore. :)

You first saw Majolica Majorca in KLCC Watsons.

From the MM range, I have the exact same blush RD255 (which based on your NARS dupe post, made me realise it is very similar to NARS Orgasm) and Lash Enamel Glamour and I *heart* both products!!! The M’sia prices are pretty reasonable too (just a lil mark up compared to prices in Japan)!! Now I can’t wait for MM to arrive in Singapore, which I understand will be in mid- to end-October in Watsons Ngee Ann City!

Thanks for opening up the competition to us! And Happy Birthday in advance too!

  44. Sindy October 2, 2008 12:54 pm

    Yay! Just subscribed :)

    1) Sindy here! I’m from Thailand =)
    2) you first spotted MM at watsons at KLCC
    3) A friend of mine introduced this brand to me. She’s a flight attendent and she kinda know a lot about make up. And once, she used to ask me wether I wanted something from Japan or not..and I had no idea what to get. I was on a low budget…So she recommended me the automatic eyeliner which i fall in love with, I also got the Lash Enamel mascara and gloss as a gift from her. The color is sheer but very very nice (RD419). I love it. But the company she’s working with has closed the route to Japan now, so no more MM for me T____T
Long story short!! Just to say that i love MM and willing to try more of their line!

    ps: happy bday :)

  45. Ee October 3, 2008 1:31 am

  47. Smiley October 3, 2008 8:27 pm

A student name Smiley says aloha to PB!! I’m malaysian & is locating in KL.

I’ve subscribed by email long ago & has been an avid reader of your blog. What i like the most about Malaysian beauty bloggers esp you PB, is that I ‘ll get the latest news about products selling in KL where I’m pretty accessible to them. Love it when you made the feature products a good selling point with your experience to it. I always get lured into buying them & i think i had most of your collections.

I haven’t tried the majolica majorca nor buying it somewhere during holiday visits so its a good news to me that they have in drugstore. If i win this giveaway, I would be thankful enough to use them.Oh! n I’ll send you a REAL birthday rose by tracking sender’s address~ You might think that I’m bantering with you but am serious cause I’m your number 1 fan ^^ . That would be so sweet for a birthday present from a loyal fan. In case you might be thinking narrowly, I’m a straight female! no worries!! ^^

  49. pinkcloud October 4, 2008 5:31 am

Hie, I had just subscribed by email and I am from Malaysia

You had visited the watson store in KLCC for this collection.

I havent tried any of the majolica majorca product but it sounds very tempting o me as the price its not too expensive and the packaging are just too cute to resists!!! Perhaps the other reasons that i am going to try out might be because its from shisheido so the products shouldnt turned out to be too bad huh?

btw, i had been reading ur blog entries about the product reviews and really like them!!! thax 4 the info u provide i found it really useful!! keep it up girl!!!

  50. geekchic October 4, 2008 6:32 am

    PB, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I’m glad M’sia’s starting to import more of the better cosmetics. I haven’t a freaking clue why they removed Max factor. Calorie 2000 is one of the best drugstore mascaras I’ve ever used.

I can make a list now on what to buy when I next fly over :)

  51. ParisB October 4, 2008 12:10 pm

@geekchic : Not till later in the month but thank you! :) I’m glad things are looking up in the cosmetics department. I was getting bored :P

    Hey hon,
I’ve subscribed and I’m from Singapore. You bought the products at the Watsons KLCC.
I want to try more MJ products because I have their mascara, and it’s uber fantastic. I’m guessing all their other stuff is of equally high quality. And who could resist their packaging! I’d love to diversify my make up collection, and am really glad that MJ has finally hit the Watson stores here! No need for the online shopping hassle anymore. I think it’s wonderful, your blog. We asian chicks know makeup too!
    Happy birthday!

  57. Coral Lean October 6, 2008 6:01 pm

Hi, I’m from Setapak, subscribed :)

You met Majolica Majorca in Watsons KLCC.

I personally been reading a lot of Japanese magazines for years, e.g. Cawaii, Vivi, Mina, CanCam, and the readers always recommended Majolica. I really wish I could have a chance to try it. They’re simply lovely :)

  58. liv October 7, 2008 11:20 am

    hi,

i have subscribed and i am from Malaysia.

You first saw the MM collection in Watson’s KLCC.

I have been wanting to try this collection since forever, and although now it’s in Malaysia i cant get my hands on it as im from east malaysia and it wont be available here…If i can get my hands on it, i will grab the everything as the packaging is just so princessy~

  59. Tasha October 8, 2008 2:51 am

Hi I just subscribed and I’m Tasha and I’m from the Philippines.

You got the Majolica Majorca products from Watsons KLCC.

Hm I really can’t say much about the product because I just recently got into make up. But I suppose the one thing I can comment on is the packaging. I love how it comes in a clear case so you won’t need to open the case to know what colors they come in exactly. Hahaha and I must admit that though I don’t understand a word of Japanese I visit their site regularly.

  60. Ling October 8, 2008 9:28 am

Hihi, I have subscribed and I am from Kuala Lumpur. The first time you saw MM was in Watson, KLCC. I have always been your silence reader, this is my first time leaving a message here! Thanks for sharing all the thoughts with us, you reviews are all very useful. ^^

i never tried it before but they do have cute products =)

  62. Melissa October 8, 2008 9:40 am

    Hello Paris!

I’m relatively a new reader and have been following up on your blog for close to 2 months now. Anyway, back to the topic. Heh.

I’m Melissa from KL. But currently living in Melbourne for my university studies. So I’m not quite sure if I’m a local or international reader? Haha.

You have first spotted Majolica Majorca at Watsons in KLCC.

Well, to be honest, I’m not very good when it comes to make up, still in a learning process [that's why I'm reading on beauty blogs!]. So actually I haven’t really heard of Majolica Majorca until I read it here.

I understand Shiseido is a prestigious brand, so being a low end sub-brand of it, I believe Majolica Majorca has got its standard in terms of quality. Plus it’s affordable! Kill 2 birds with 1 stone yeah. I’m definitely gonna check it out when I’m back in KL next year, because I don’t think they are available here in Melbourne as you have mentioned the places in your previous entry.

Yeah, I think that’s it. Thank you for setting up this blog [because fashion magazines are really expensive here].

(Btw, I bought a Rootote after reading yours. I absolutely love it!)

  63. Engmin October 8, 2008 9:41 am

Hey ParisB, I’ve subscribed by e-mail and I’m from Johor. You saw Majolica Majorca in KLCC Watsons. Majolica Majorca is worth trying out as it is one of Shiseido’s popular lines.

  64. CH October 8, 2008 9:41 am

Hi, i’ve just subscribed and Im from Malaysia but currently residing in Australia. The store that you went to was Watson KLCC. I have heard of MM from a friend and had used some of their products. I would say that this brand is a really good brand for the price and quality you get.

  65. Rachel October 8, 2008 12:08 pm

    Hi PB,

I’d subscribed via email, and was activated. I’m from KL, have been a silent reader of your beauty blog for some time. Really appreciate your efforts in reviewing the products!

The place you saw Majolica Majorca collection is Watson KLCC. Reading all the online reviews, I am tempted to try MJ mascara and honey pump lipgloss. Their eyeshadow pallete looks promising too. Totally love their packaging, very princess-y :)

  66. mahusia October 8, 2008 9:42 pm

(A late but sincere and warm) happy birthday!

  67. Ser October 8, 2008 10:37 pm

    hello there,

Thanks for the hardwork on the reviews. It definitely help me to save on huge bucks before trying on something new.

I already subscribed and I am from Malaysia. The watson u went was located in KLCC.

I like this brand but I spent merely RM 35 just for a single eyeshadow last year from a forum. Anyway, it is a breaking great new that Majolica has reached Malaysia with the price that is so reasonable.

Thanks again for the hardwork. looking forward to read more review from u. Adios.

  68. yl October 9, 2008 1:32 am

    1. I’ve subscribed and am from Singapore :) we’re practically neighbours
    2. Watsons KLCC
    3. I love the packaging for MM products. Very ornate and I love the gold and black. I was first introduced to this brand about 2 years ago when my brother and sis-in-law went to Japan on holiday and bought me their mascaras (one of the lengthening one and one of the volumising one) :) i love the lash expander one though it can be a pain to remove sometimes, great for a night out clubbing though! other than that, i’ve tried their cream shadows which are a definite miss. they go on very ‘wet’ and never seem to set so they crease easily in a really short amount of time

on a side note, i love your blog and reviews :) thanks for taking the time to work on this!

  69. Puccie1510 October 9, 2008 1:57 am

    Hi Paris B!!

Happy Birthday!! I am an october baby as well….hmmm not a baby anymore heheheeh :)

I am currently living in the Netherlands but I am peruvian. I love your blog and since I started to read it, I am so wanting to try all the wonderful asian make up that you review here.

Now the answer to the contest’s question is: The Watsons store that you went to was in KLCC. Majolica Majorca is a brand I’m attracted to because of their lovely packaging and wonderful quality at great prices…..I would love to have the palettes, lipglosses, blushes, ….everything!! :)

  70. olynn7 October 9, 2008 8:44 am

hi i think i had post out a comment on last Monday (i guess) but my comment just did not appear… So sorry with your server problem…

Anyway i’m from PJ and had subscribed this for a couple of months already.

honestly i only MM products some time ago in a forum. they got high raves on their mascara and really got cute and girly packaging.

o yeah almost forgot….u saw this product in Watson KLCC

  71. alexandra sadjadpour October 9, 2008 10:27 am

Hellllo! My name is Alexandra and I’m coming to you from rainy and dreary Seattle. You first spotted this at Watsons KLCC.
First I just wanna say what a great job you do with the blog! It’s so much fun for me to look forward to new blog entries and makeup reviews after a hard day of school :p
I think MM looks like quite an interesting brand but I do have to agree with you that it does give off a little girlish/princessy vibe and makes me feel old too (and I’m only 19!) However, the products do look to be quite interesting and access to these types of brands here in the US can be quite tedious so I’d happily jump upon a chance to score any of their products.
    Never stop with the blog!!

  72. alexandra sadjadpour October 9, 2008 10:30 am

    oh and I subscribed! :D
    annnd happy belated birthday!

  73. Peny Fong October 9, 2008 3:59 pm

  74. Lyn October 10, 2008 1:03 am

    Hi there!

I’m lyn. I’ve subscribed by email and I’m from Johor.

    You went to KLCC’s Watsons.

I had been eyeing MM stuffs for long long time ago… dying to get them. I even joined those pre-order spree before, grab quite amount for stuffs but… no luck to even see the super duper cute packaging yet!! Because the whole spree happen to be a scam!!! cheated my money! wasted my time waited and waited. Now MM finally came to Msia but when they gonna be in Johor yet?! T____T

    Thank you. Cheers!

  75. blu3 October 10, 2008 7:03 am

Hi Paris! I’ve subscribed by email :)

    I’m blu3 (I’d rather not use my real-life name :D) and I’m from Canada.

You first saw this counter at the Watson’s KLCC store, and I’ve started to get into Majorca Majolica because their packaging is just adorable! I hope they’ll come out with a good collection next spring though, because this fall was disappointing imo.

Thanks for doing an international giveaway as well, I appreciate it :)

    Keep up the good work!
