Ok this is making something serious like Earth Day look flippant, but earth conservation is now not limited to tree huggers and stuffy men in corporate suits. Women can contribute to conservation and look gorgeous at the same time.

This is the message by Chantecaille (luxury cosmetics brand) who has teamed up with The Pew Institute for Ocean Science . Chantecaille is well known for their beautiful face palettes. Then, Chantecaille came up with their Coral face palette which also had some form of contribution to the environment .

This year, Chantecaille designed a Protected Paradise eye and face palette compacts to support vital marine science research and conservation efforts. 5% of the selling price will be donated to the Pew Institute to support the Institute’s Pew Fellowship in Marine Conservation program.

I”d imagine this is a collectible… I mean, the cause would better benefit from a direct donation of $90.

jojoba: I’ve heard lots of good things about the eyeshadows. Maybe its just too expensive
