Save the Seas - buy a Chantecaille face palette

Apr 22, 2008 | Collections, Makeup

Ok this is making something serious like Earth Day look flippant, but earth conservation is now not limited to tree huggers and stuffy men in corporate suits. Women can contribute to conservation and look gorgeous at the same time.

This is the message by Chantecaille (luxury cosmetics brand) who has teamed up with The Pew Institute for Ocean Science . Chantecaille is well known for their beautiful face palettes. Their most popular palette that merits being framed up is the Papillion or butterfly palettes. They are really beautiful. Then, Chantecaille came up with their Coral face palette which also had some form of contribution to the environment .

This year, Chantecaille designed a Protected Paradise eye and face palette compacts to support vital marine science research and conservation efforts. 5% of the selling price will be donated to the Pew Institute to support the Institute’s Pew Fellowship in Marine Conservation program.

Marketing speil aside, look at how gorgeous the compacts are! Breaks your heart to have to use it and destroy the beauty of the palette, eh? Kind of what the earth is all about. Breaks your heart to see beautiful marine life destroyed.

The Chantecaille Protected Paradise compacts retail at US$90 each in Nieman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Barney’s New York and other selected retailers. US$90! Well, tell yourself part of it is for a good cause!

Stay beautiful,

I”d imagine this is a collectible… I mean, the cause would better benefit from a direct donation of $90. :)
