Can anyone help?

I’m putting out a help notice on behalf of someone. She needs to know 3 things quite urgently:-

  1. Are there any good affordable tailors in Kuala Lumpur who make evening gowns?
  2. Is there anywhere in Kuala Lumpur where one can rent or borrow evening gowns at an affordable price?
  3. Can anyone recommend a good makeup artist who does bridal makeup at a reasonable rate?

If you have answers to the above questions please contact me through the email form on my Contact page and I’ll put you in touch with her.

Thank you kindly! :)

p/s Tons more reviews coming up! I just need to stop tweaking the template and get down to writing them… hehe… Have a good weekend!

Stay beautiful,

ask zihi ying (manager) in MUFE (or anyone in MUFE) for a bridle make over. i think it’s not too expensive. and MUFE is good for bridle mu.

also, there is a dress shop (many chinese cheong sam and traditional types) in SS2 or its other outlet right next to overseas restuarant in the city. can’t recall the name but it’s not too expensive, if not mistaken. if not, there are MANY more modern dress shop (bridle ones esp.) in SS2 area. good luck.

Not so sure about her definition of “affordable” but here is my recommendation. still depending on her needs and taste.

1. for tailor gown you can look for Carven Ong (Lot 10, top floor), carven is really a nice guy to deal with your budget.

2. renting evening gown is not so viable anyway it doesn’t come in cheaply.

3. for make up artist you can try cover shot at jln ampang (next to Sayfol International School, they rent evening gown as well.)

hello, not sure if this is helpful but you may check out Nicleesher Fashion House http://nicleesher.com which is located at Subang Jaya, near Asia Cafe, I have never used them but I stumbled upon their website awhile back, I get the impression they are affordable as they cater to students (for proms) as well as weddings. They have pretty good designs. The only setback is they take a long lead time like 2 to 3 months to make a gown cos I inquired once for bridesmaids dresses for my friend’s wedding, so we did not use them due to the LONG lead time :(

For makeup, I have used Sharon Wei for my wedding and she was a brilliant. She is with Wedding Isle: http://www.weddingisle.com.my but advance booking is required with her as she if often fully booked. The standard rate is RM500 for one bridal look.
