I’m not offended but it might interest you that my post was written in 2008 and since then I’ve found many good things to rave about from Revlon. Products from Revlon I’ve reviewed are in this link. I’ve always liked Revlon lip products and their face base products too.

I will stand by my statement that Revlon as a brand is unexciting but they have good items too. Its also not wrong to like high end brands if we can afford it – there are many good things but also not everything is good. We’re all here to find the best products from each brand – the purpose I blog

I am sad to know that you described Revlon as ‘unexciting’? Though it is a drug-store brand in the US, and in Malaysia it is still a drug-store brand. BUT it still is expensive. People would rather go to the Silkygirl makeup counter than stopping by at Revlon’s. Make up artists in the States do use some Revlon products to do their makeup. Revlon Colorstay Foundation,and the rest of the Colorstay range is a big hit!
Revlon are only lacking in promotion here in Asia, not much emphasis has been given to their products here, except little ads here an there,and that’s the real ‘un-excite-ment’ of it all.
I am a Revlon lover, and I have to disagree on people saying it bad or not popular.
Wait, that’s the thing about Malaysians, they only go for high end makeup brands, because Malaysian loves brands. They love to splurge on things, that they think is cool, it is high quality, but if we really know about makeup, we won’t just go for MAC,Lancome, Channel, Dior.. etc.

I used mineral powder foundation (the one that comes with the swivel brush)… didn’t stay ‘on me’ for 16 hours as claimed (maybe it’s because I’ve got oily skin???) Did the whole sha-bang of moisturiser and primer before the foundation but sigh… by lunch my pores were waving back at me through the mirror….

I’m now on their liquids (the one that changes from white paste to skin tone). I’m using Fair and it’s been 2 weeks now since i bought it – so far so good… as the matter of fact, this product goes into my ‘archives’ of “good-easy to apply-n-stays on my face” beauty products!

I frequent their website and now contemplating of getting their 2in1 brow highlights. I remember long time back, Revlon used to carry their ‘one side pencil the other a gel applicator’ for brows. I regret not getting it then… now I’m rummaging through every Revlon display at every Watson outlets in KV for this product! If anyone can find one, please let me know!!! xD

I’ve got to agree the majority here: Revlon in Malaysia doesn’t have impressive range – unlike their counterparts overseas…. sigh…. why ‘lah?!’ Deprives ‘vain-pots’ like me from having fun! Heheh…

Last year Revlon’s LE collection is still in stores right now..so much for LE eh?
