At first my friend told me the Pale Pink was, well, paler, and the Raspberry was brighter, but after an hour, they both looked pretty much the same. In the pan they're both pretty scary looking (TOTALLY unlike the pic on the website) but the Raspberry is slightly brighter with a blue-ish undertone. You're right in the sense that hardly any colour shows up.I use it as an all-over base for the eye area before slapping on any colour.
