Its always bikini season here

Sep 20, 2007 | Clothes

Because its always swimwear season here in Malaysia, I thought to post a picture of a bikini set that caught my eye. I saw this set on Keys Swimwear and there was just something about it that appealed to me.

I think its the buckle on the bottom that gives this outfit a rugged, sexy edge. You don’t usually get metal bits on swimwear and this one looks like it would look as good out of the water as in it. I however, am not as thin nor toned as the model so there’s no way I can squeeze myself into something to tiny. But one can dream eh?

It was also while browsing Keys Swimwear that I saw they were selling bikini tops and bikini bottoms separately. I used to wonder why this was so because over here, when I browse in the store, I find that they usually sell them as a set. However, now I see the logic in selling them separately, not so you can mix and match (though that is a thought) but because a woman’s top and bottom are not usually of the same size. So, selling bikinis separately offers a better fit. Makes perfect sense now! Darn! I think its time for me to hit the gym!

I normally purchase my swimwears frm Roxy. Before this, my top size was smaller (I dunno how it grew lah haha) so I purchased a size 8 but lo and behold, after a year…I couldn’t fit into my bottom. Not say my butt increased in size, in fact..smaller adi. Dunno dun care. This time, I bought a size 10 since top grew alil already and could fit into a size 10 and a tip is that, buy string bikinis if your bottom size fluctuates like MINE. At least you can adjust the size a wee bit through the tightness of your string.

And I also notice that non-set bikinis are normally more expensive. I have decided to pass to my sister my old bikini since I only wore it freaking once. Argh.

PB says: That’s a good tip S-kay! And that’s true about non set bikinis. They really jack up the prices
