Hot Tubs at an online furniture store

Aug 22, 2007

Last weekend, I was watching a programme on television where they make over people’s houses and backyards. One of the new things they installed in the backyard was a hot tub. I was intrigued because overe here, hot tubs aren’t particularly popular possibly due to the weather.

Anyway, to feed my intrigue, I went to check out an online furniture store to see how much a hot tub would cost. To my surprise, it costs thousands of dollars for one tub! Oh my! And the tub isn’t even buried in the ground but is elevated. I’m glad I was browsing online for I’m sure sales persons in a store would have rolled their eyes at my exclamations of horror at seeing the prices. I hate it when sales people do that in the stores or when they tag along everywhere you go. Shopping online frees you from that inconvenience.

If you plan to shop online though, what I sometimes do is check out the item first in the store, then go online and see if its cheaper there. That way, I get the best of both worlds. I get to see the item in person, and I get stress free shopping!

It’s also expensive to keep a hot tub heated, so your electric bill will go up a lot!!!! Luckily I have a hot tub at my apartment complex.
