If you're like me, just taking photies for holidays and some shots for the blog, I'd say an SLR is too much of a hassle. But if you're like him and adore photography and fiddling with Photoshop and upgrading lenses, then the SLRs are worth it. He doesn't mind lugging it around on holidays, but for me it's too heavy and bulky esp since all I want is to point and shoot. Really depends on what you want to use it for. Top Monkey owns one.
