After that super expensive Chantecaille Coral compact I highlighted earlier, here’s another pretty but expensive powder compact. This time, its by Japanese brand, Kanebo under a sub-brand called Milano.
The site is all in Japanese, but based on the translation, it appears that the Milano brand only has a powder in a pretty compact, and a fragrance in its stable. Based on current exchange rates, the compact powder in its collectible case retails for RM354 (RM377 with tax). Not quite as expensive as the Chantecaille Coral compact, but very expensive nonetheless.
Apparently the powder is fortified with royal jelly and has SPF, but not even that can make me buy it. The design on the compact changes every year, which makes it a collectible item. Here are the designs since 1991:

Honestly, the designs do nothing for me. I find them a tad tacky. However, it must have some appeal to still be in production with such a hefty price tag! What do you think?

Woah, didn’t know Kanebo had that. I sure didn’t see it in Japan. But then again, this will most likely be sold in shopping centres like Takashimaya or Isetan, which stock very expensive items.
I don’t really see the appeal either *shrug*
