Just wanted too share my first brazillian experience to help those who are feeling a little nervous like I was!

After reading various reviews online I decided to take 2 panadol forte (stronger pain relief than normal panandol) an hour prior to my appt. I must say the whole day leading up to my appointment I was absolutley shitting myself, I kept thinking why am I doing this to myself and worrying that maybe my ‘downstairs’ will look different to everyone else’s.

Firstly the panadol forte was a good idea, as the pain was probably just the same as an eyebrow wax! I think it did help ease the pain a bit. It may be good to note the longer the hair the more painful it will be!
I was left in the room by myself, asked to put a black meshy disposable g-string and lye down with a towel covering my groin area. The lady was very professional and I made sure to keep the conversation going to avoid any awkwardness. I also let her know that it was my first time and she was very understanding. I told her about my fear that I thought I may not be normal ‘downstairs’ and she just laughed at me but said it was a common first-timer thought. She asked me to pull the g-string away to one side and vice versa ( as she moved from waxing one side to the other). After the wax was complete she lay the towel back over my groin area and left the room allowing me to put my clothes back on.

All up it was definitely not as scary, intimidating or nerve-racking as I thought it would be. My only advice would be to tell the beautician that it’s your first time and take some pain relief before hand – just to be safe!

I just did mine in a newly opened beuty saloon in Bangsar. They were good. No double DIP which was excellent. Simply bcos I have tried many places and they say NO Double DIP but they still DOUBLE dip and gives me rashes after brazilian but for the first time after 5 years I tried in this saloon, they we simply amazing.. No rashes and it was clean.. They also gave me an after care applicator which will prevent ingrown hair.. was just nice.. after 3 weeks im going again
