Just when you thought it was safe to wear jeans again after the last trends of skinny jeans and super low waisted jeans, the latest Life & Style now tells us that the latest trend is for high waists.
High waisted jeans? I thought we left that in the 80’s! I remember wearing those jeans then. It doesn’t flatter me, I’m sad to say. If you have a tummy, even a slight one, it shows on the front because the waist panel is so high.
I found that the best jeans for me are those that fit around the hips. This is because I have a shorter body as compared to my legs so wearing jeans that are slightly lower waisted adds the illusion of length to my body. It also helps hide slight tummy bulges you have.
I’m afraid I’ll have to sit this one out. Bah! It’d better not catch on!
On a lighter note, look at these pretty satin bags/clutches! So bright and gorgeous especially since its Spring and all. You can tell I really need to get me a clutch and soon eh? hehe

omg wtf! i’m sooo sick of this high waisted jeans bashing. i’m a size 1, high waisted jeans look great on me, and you can bet your ass i’m gonna wear them. it’s really not MY fault no one seems to know the meaning of the word “diet”. uhhg.
