I discovered it after I'd had an elective surgical procedure and was looking for something to aid in scaring. I was pleased with the results when used on my incisions. I now apply Bio Oil after showers and occasionally on my face prior to bed. It is not oily at all. And it is light and smells fresh. A great body moisturizer! Bio Oil is great!
